Dr. Richard Koty and his staff were absolutely wonderful with my 7-year-old child, who has autism. We brought her in because her school had noticed concerns with her visual tracking. Dr. Koty and his team were incredibly patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire visit. They conducted extensive and thorough testing, taking the time to carefully evaluate her needs and explain everything to us. We were extremely impressed with the diagnosis, guidance, and advice we received. Dr. Koty was knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly took the time to make sure we understood the results and the best path forward for our child. We are so grateful for the care and attention she received. I highly recommend Dr. Richard Koty and his staff to any parent looking for a caring, thorough, and knowledgeable pediatric ophthalmologist. We had an excellent experience!

We visited the office for our son’s first eye exam. The doctor, Dr. Marmor, was wonderful. He listened carefully, he seemed thorough in his exam, he was knowledgeable, and he explained things practically. We would hesitate to recommend the practice, though, due to the staff. The front desk staff seemed bothered to interact. The first technician we saw was so unfriendly, so unyielding, and so rough - especially when putting dilating drops in the eyes of a 7-year old having his first experience - that I had to ask her for space and to please remove her hands from his face because I didn’t want his first experience to be so traumatic we wouldn’t have a positive second experience. We also had to explain to her that we wanted to check that his eyes could be dilated following a concussion and she needed prompting to follow up with the doctor. The waiting areas are a little hectic, loud, and not very clean. Overall, good doctor in a not great situation.
Dr. Sorken is the best ophthalmologist! He's kind, compassionate, and oh so funny! My 8yr old daughter loves seeing him! The staff is wonderful as well. Highly recommend this place for your child's eye care!
Amazing amazing service, I wish I had every ones name but from the girl at the front desk(Pepsi :-) ) to the drs in the back was all so accommodating and pleasant got me in and out of my appointment! My son loved the bluey stickers !! Very sweet ladies and will definitely recommend to my other family and friends
The worst of the worst. The front office staff here is the worst you will find at any practice in New York. They are rude, don't bother to listen to your questions, never answer the phone. When you ask if the doctor is running on time, they say every appointment is considered on time if the patient is seen within 2 hours of their scheduled time. The doctors are great - the office staff needs to additional training and accountability.
