Breastfeeding mothers beware. I have been seeing Dr. Boone for a few years now, and he is a nice, personable man who takes great care of his patients as an optometrist. However, today his office denied my appointment because I had my baby with me. He would have remained in his car seat for the duration of the appointment. There has to be a place where the car seat could have been set — it isn’t a large item, and accommodations surely could have been made. It is hard enough to get out and accomplish things with a baby in tow, and then to be told I had to reschedule because I brought my nursing baby with me was very disappointing. Where I go, he goes. I don’t leave him with anyone because only I feed him. I feel discriminated against as a nursing mother, and I won’t be returning. I can no longer recommend this practice.

I’ve been in the waiting room and can hear everything going on in the office. The people here are so nice! Two ladies are working with a special needs client and they are wonderful! They are calm and patient! I haven’t seen the doctor yet, but they alone are enough to make me come back.

I have never been dogged for. 50$ co-pay from a person I had seen for 35 years ! Never owed his office any money and had been charged my copay already(was refunded). Office is very small and I was forewarned to only bring 1person & I didn’t plan to bring anyone. Yet there was a family of 3 which I was told they were all patients! We parted ways that day and I have taken my business elsewhere! They also told me it was the policy of the Dr. that sees my husband yet they have never asked him for a dime! People do not have to be treated like they are a dollar.

We had an appointment for my 11 yr old, is just me a the mother with a 11 months old baby and two younger sisters, as soon as we walked in for his appointment, we couldn’t stay there with him because it’s only one person with the patient as a companion, they told us to walk “around in waltmart “ waiting for him. He stayed there for like 5+ minutes then I just came back and took him , why would I leave my son go in there by himself? So now they charging me 35 fee for a “no show fee” ? Even tho he did showed up and they check him in. Wow must be nice

I was very impressed. I found my recent visit to be quick, efficient, and friendly. Dr. Boone has an excellent bedside manner. His staff was kind and helpful. I will definitely be switching myself and my children to him as our family optometrist.
