My experience with them started off fine. After a few appointments, they had a major attitude change. Due to other serious health issues. I had to cancel and reschedule some appointments. Then, they started to lose the original friendliness. My last appointment was to be a quick appointment, but after an hour of waiting, I had to leave due to another appointment after I was told there were stiĺl 2 or 3 other patients ahead of me. A week later, I received a very rude, threatening letter making untrue statements. I attempted to discuss the issue, but my phone messages were ignored. I will never go back, and I can not recommend them.

After months of being dismissed, denied timely treatment, and left to suffer with worsening vision, I made the decision to seek care elsewhere. I have macular edema and need steroid injections for flareups that occur every three months. Each time my appointment was coming up I’d get a call from them to move my appointment three months later. Plus the wait time was ridiculous; if you have an appointment there, plan on being there for hours. Last time they moved my appointment to months later I had to get worked in because I was going blind from a flareup. Dr Hunt examined me and basically told me I was imagining things and when I asked for an injection anyway, he said it wouldn’t do any good. I am now under the care of a phenomenal retinal team at the Heavner Eye Institute in Columbus who took my condition seriously from day one — including detailed testing and bloodwork. Plus they confirmed I indeed had swelling in the eye, plus where Dr Hunt chose to ignore the right eye from retinal damage, they’ve been treating it and making it much better to see so there’s no way I’d ever trust this place to treat me for macular edema again. A nurse screamed at me about how I’d have fluctuations with my vision; she screamed because she didn’t know how to properly speak to a deaf person who reads lips. That place seriously needs to update their accessibility and inclusion knowledge . It’s heartbreaking to know that the swelling and bleeding in my eyes could’ve been addressed sooner if only my concerns had been heard. Delaying treatment can have consequences, and I hope no other patient has to experience what I did under Dr. Hunt’s care. And since I got me a new retinal specialist after my last disastrous visit with him, I only saw two missed calls from them and no voicemails when it was time to see him again. They are absolutely horrible people with no compassion or empathy to be assisting patients with blindness. Especially when their blindness is new to them. I’ve moved on — thankfully — and I’m finally getting the kind of care that I deserve from an excellent staff.

Doctor Jamerson has "NO" patient bedside manner. Can be very rude and dismissive when questions are asked. They often herd patients like cattle. Seems to have no time for patient inquiries.

Rude as hell!! They will tell you it only takes 20-30 minutes after first shot but you will be there for over an hour every time. The doctor is quick with no bed side manners and barely answers any questions.

Everyone is very nice but we drive an hour here to sit in the waiting room for 3 HOURS for them to just give him a shot in his eye. If you have an appointment at this place i would recommend to NOT HAVE PLANS for that day since they will have you there ALL DAY. This would have to be one of the WORST places i’ve ever been! Also they worry about having their name tags on when most people that are there can’t even see it.
