Dr. Eaton is a very intelligent and knowledgeable doctor. I feel very confident with him. His staff is friendly and fun. The only thing I don't like is the wait time.

Doctor Eaton is an excellent physician. Staff well qualified and friendly. I never worry about the wait time, because I know Doctor Eaton will do his best to look after each patient. Because if you have something unforeseen, he often can take care of it right then. So I give him the grace to do that for others ahead of me. Very thankful for Dr. Eaton and his staff.
The wait to see a doctor is unacceptable. My appointment time was 10:45. Even accounting for the 45 minutes to an hour for my pupils to dilate, I should have been out of there by noon. Instead, it was closer to 1:30 before I left. They have no respect for your time & assume everyone is retired & has all day to waste. If I didn't have such respect for Dr. Eaton, I would find another facility & still may if I can find anyone with similar credentials & references. This has happened at every visit to this clinic.
I arrived at 1:30 for a 1:45 appointment. I checked in at the desk upon arrival and was told that I was “ good to go”. After waiting in the waiting room until nearly 2:45 I checked back at the desk to find that I had evidently “fallen through the cracks”, and that they would expedite me. After a routine exam I was sent to a room with various imaging devices. Having been a patient at this practice for five years, I was familiar with these devices. Unfortunately, the technician operating these devices was lacking in training or experience. She required 4 to 5 attempts per eye to obtain an acceptable scan. In past visits, good scans were obtained on the first or (rarely) second try. Since each try involves exposing the eye to an extremely bright flash, the multiple attempts were not pleasant.
Staff friendly. Similar appts in other state are much more effecient. This office takes 2-3 hours versus 1 hour or less. However, it is Florida in season so long appts expected. Doctor should take a course on bedside manners. He is not friendly with an indifferent attitude.
