Dr Hager and staff have consistently shown us great courtesy and kindness. They are, above all, completely knowledgeable, as well as thorough. They take the time to give you their undivided attention. We could not be more pleased.

I took my 82 yr old mother who had suffered from a bad fall that involved her face and eyes. I was very pleased and impressed with Dr Hager and his staff. He was warm, enthusiastic, professional, thorough, an excellent communicator and knowledgeable. He explained everything, every in a way that was easy to understand. He also used state of the art equipment and he had a well-trained staff. The check-in process was easy and seamless. Thank you Kris at the front desk. Jennifer, the medical technician, prepared us for our visit with him. We were pleased with our visit and I would highly recommend Dr Hagerbased on that.

Dr. Hager and his medical team are exceptional. They are professional, caring, and demonstrate a high level of expertise. Family members raved about the phenomenal eye surgery care they received. This motivated me to travel to San Antonio to become Dr. Hager‘s patient. Best decision ever.

Everyone in the office is a professional. They are friendly while providing the care you need for your eyes. I trust what is explained to me because Dr. Hagar and his staff take the time needed to make you feel comfortable. Easy location too. So glad I was referred

I called to schedule an appointment for a scratch on my cornea and was informed that the next available appointment was not until next week. When I asked whether there were any urgent appointments available, the staff member simply responded, “No walk-ins.” I then asked what she would recommend, and her response was, “Go somewhere else.” I was honestly taken aback by the lack of professionalism and empathy. The interaction only became more aggressive when she abruptly asked if I wanted to schedule or not, and then hung up on me. This was my very first interaction with your office, and unfortunately it left a very negative impression. Patient care begins with the first phone call, and front office staff should be trained to communicate with kindness, professionalism, and compassion — especially when someone is calling about a medical concern. If your office is unable to accommodate urgent patients, there should at minimum be clear protocols in place to guide patients toward appropriate care rather than dismissing them. Patients deserve better.
