Switched a few years ago from Shopko Optical. Was treated ok at 1st. When I ordered new lenses, they recommended a new line in my bifocals. I told them I was concerned as I was use to my original lenses. After a few months, I had to pay for new lenses. Then, I purchased a new set of frames in March. During my entire time with Wal-Mart, I had a great warranty, and good service. They now tell me, after my frames break, that they stopped warrantying the frames for a year. Kathy, the store manager, told me she repaired my frames and they were perfect. 3 mos old frames, no warranty, poor dishonest assistance from the store manager. I was never offered to purchase a 20$ warranty.

I switched over from Shopko to Walmart vision center a few years ago. Excellent, FRIENDLY customer service. Very organized and competent employees. Optometrist Dr. Frie very personable. I gave Walmart a try after receiving the wrong prescription from ShopKo. Very pleased 👓 I have purchased eyeglass frames online and brought them to the Walmart. The prescription was filled flawlessly with no problem.

I purchesed my glasses else where. My glasses lost a pin last night (Saturday) and the lense popped out. Sunday, went to Rice Lake WI Vision Center as website said they were open until 5pm, but got there and they were closed. Called Chippewa Falls Vision Center and young man working there told me come down and he'd fix them! Arrived 3:15pm, he fixed them, no charge even thou I hadn't purchased them from Walmart, and back in my vehicle before 3:30pm. Wonderful service from him and very pleasant! Merry Christmas!!!

I have had both bad and good experience with staff in the Optical dept. Most recently was the best experience every! Becky helped me through a difficult time trying to get glasses (self pay). She went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone looking for optical needs. Thank You -

Incredible service! Office staff was so helpful and kind and Dr. was very informative, efficient, and helpful. Price for an uninsured basic eyes exam for glasses was $70.
