Rosin Eyecare

Rosin Eyecare is one of the best optical stores around. I have been to several other stores in different neighborhoods; however, this is my favorite one and it is definitely not close for me (I am willing to travel for the service and product). The store is always well-organized, clean, and offers some of the latest designs in eyeware. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are several doctors and they are all very good. I highly recommend all of them. The doctors will thoroughly check the health of your eyes and provide important resources and feedback.

I requested an appointment thru the website a little over a month ago and received a confirmation email stating someone would be in touch. 32 days later I sent another request and received the same email. I called the rush mychart for a different issue and they asked me about my referral to the eye doctor and I stated that I had not received a call back and they transferred me to the office phone number. I was on hold for 25 minutes and then was told that I could be put on a wait list for a call back in September. 5 months from now. I asked if the website appointment from April was putting me on the wait list and was told that they do not use their own website to schedule appointments. I then asked if they used the RUSH Mychart for updates for which I was told no. This was a big shock to me considering they promote the system to everyone. I have had so much good service from RUSH that I have tried to move all my personal healthcare to their system, but this eyecare seems to be a shame to the RUSH System. I was so looking forward to continuing my luck, but I guess every medical institute has an Achilles heal, I gues this one is its customer service.

Fully unacceptable treatment from this location. They gave me another patients prescription. When I called from the glasses shop to ask for my prescription the receptionist is rude, communicated poorly, disconnected me. Never apologized for the mistake or took responsibility for the situation. Said she would try to get the prescription to me in half an hour. 45 minutes later I’m sitting in this store, still no prescription, and now they have turned their phone off. Thank you so much to Latrice at the Michigan Avenue location, who apologized immediately, took responsibility, and got me my prescription quickly.

The receptionist demeanor was unpleasant and kind of off putting, with a condescending tone. She wasn’t helpful at all. Wasn’t trying to assist with eyewear that’s in my price range with my insurance. She asked for medical which wasn’t cashed for & when my card was expired. Even tho the transaction went through. Didn’t ask for the 3 numbers on the back. I ended up asking for my prescription so that I can get it filled elsewhere. Won’t be back. Going where ppl like doing their job.

The costumer service is awesome, they have taken good care of me. They have taken the time to listen to my needs and the quality time , if I have any problems I can call them back with no hesitation. I will continue to come back to Rosin Eye with ease. The price is affordable. Thank you so much
