Unfortunate experience today at the Saline location. After waiting for several months for the first available for my child we spent two hours at the office (exam, testing and frames) to find out the practice doesn’t accept the child’s insurance. When calling months ago, the ran her insurance and while checking in we present the insurance card. We waited about a half an hour in the waiting room before being seen, it wasn’t until after 2 hours and while we were checking out we were told this. I had to negotiate for far too long before I was able to get the price of the exam down to $100 cash and I had to cancel the glasses we had chosen. Glasses, exam, lenses and frames would have cost me around $900. Now, I need to find another optometrist and start the process again!
