Salt Lake City Eye Care

Optometrist was great, very friendly staff and doctor. Didn’t have to wait and doctor spent adequate time adjusting prescription for contact lenses. Optical department on the other hand is lacking. Told me my contact order would be ready in 10 business days, after the 10 days plus some I called to get status on order. Was put on hold for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back, put on hold again for another few minutes and then was told the order hadn’t come in yet and might take longer due to the type of contacts I ordered. The person I spoke with was not personable and acted as if me calling was bothersome to them and abruptly hung up the phone after our conversation without saying goodbye. I have never had an issue with other Costco optical locations, but this one I’m not too sure about.

Visited Dr. Collins who stands out as a true professional who possesses extensive knowledge in their field and demonstrates genuine care and compassion for their patients. What impressed me the most was Dr. Collins’ depth of knowledge and expertise. He skillfully performed a comprehensive eye examination, explaining each step. His ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and understandably was truly remarkable. He took the time to answer all of my questions and ensured that I had a thorough understanding of my eye health and any necessary treatments or prescriptions. Dr. Collins’ showed a genuine concern for my overall well-being. His personalized approach made me feel like more than just a patient; I felt like a valued individual receiving tailored care. I highly recommend this optometrist to anyone in need of exceptional eye care.

Everyone in optical was nice, but that's about The only positive, I was told my glasses would come in in one week, it took two, and then the prescription that the doctor gave me made my vision way worse, so now I have to make another appointment to come back in, because that's all I have is time on my hands, and then wait an additional two weeks for the glasses to get fixed. Ridiculous

This was the best experience I’ve ever had in my 15+ years of needing glasses. Dr Mark McKell was very professional, thorough, patient, and friendly. He took the time to listen to my concerns and recommended products to help with the issues. I truly felt that I was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Dr McKell to anyone!
