I've been a Sam's Club member for four years, and today I went to my usual store in Naples, Florida, looking for a special Mother's Day gift. My husband was buying me a wedding ring. When we arrived, I had to wait about 20 minutes to be served, and I had to find someone to help me myself because the person in charge wasn't at her station. When my husband finally arrived, I asked if she spoke Spanish so we could understand each other better, and she immediately and rather rudely told us no, that she was Italian, which was fine. We communicated with her in English. She showed us several rings, and at that moment, a man approached her, and she started helping him at the same time as us. I tried on several rings, but unfortunately, they weren't my size. I put them back one by one, and when we were about to leave because none of them fit, she asked me if I had left them all there. Then she said, "It doesn't matter, there are cameras." My husband and I were extremely offended by that comment. What right does someone have to do that to a customer, as if we were thieves? It's a shame we don't know the woman's name so we could leave it here. We are truly very unhappy with the treatment we received today!!!!!

The doctor is great and thorough. The Sam’s Club employee I worked with did not communicate that vision insurance is not accepted for the exam when she scheduled my appointment. I asked specifically on the phone when my insurance would be collected, and I was told it would be in store. Before the appointment, I again noted to the tech that my information needed to appear in a specific way in order for my insurance to accept the appointment. She never once indicated that the exams are not covered and cost $95 out of pocket. I have gone to Optical Centers at other Sam’s Clubs and have never had this problem. The communication is extremely deficient, and the customer service is worse. I would not recommend this location to others.

Excellent staff. I went to another place prior to this one and the Doctor gave me the wrong prescription. I went to Sam’s Club optical and Dr. Páez resolved the problem by doing an exam and correcting the eye prescription. I can see and read now. Highly recommended.
