All that I wanted was to replace my son's lens that had a scratch on it. Instead I got lectured about the law, and given the wrong information about how to go about it. Added to which the male optical representative was rude, and extremely unhelpful over the three interactions that I had with him trying to solve this issue!

My experience with this place boils down to one name, and that is Deanna McCaleb. Apparently, she is the manager there and I am flabbergasted as to how she achieved that status. I wanted access to my own records and she accused me of being a liar and 'trying to order glasses with an old script.' She notified me that the doctor I saw in 2013 had moved on. Upon contacting him, I explained how I was treated by Deanna, and he didn't seem surprised, although he didn't directly say anything unprofessional about her. Deanna had informed me that it is against hippa privacy to release my own prescription records to myself, and I now realize that she was completely incorrect. She just loved being able to not help me, in fact her tone proved that she actually enjoyed me feeling upset. She said she would not help me and tell me MY own information that I sought. Ugh, I remember dealing with her years ago(in 2013) and then immediately remembered why I never went back there. How they remain in business I will never know, with that woman running things. Needless to say, I would tell everyone to not go and subject themselves to such horrible treatment. I only gave one star because I had to select one to review. It's true what they say, one person (especially a manager) can make or break a place.... I wasn't surprised to see the only other review here was a negative on as well. Yuck, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THAT CLUB until new management takes over.
I was reading these reviews and became very concerned because I thoroughly like the doctor I saw. Apparently he left but he is back. I scheduled an appointment and am looking forward to my appointment . I have always had very thorough appointments, more so than any other doctor I have seen.
Awful experience every time. I would recommend going blind before opting for the stroke you'll get dealing with the staff.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE GOING TO ORDER GLASSES ONLINE. They will not provide you will a pupil distance measurement for your prescription. This is the only eye doctor that I have been to where this has happened. The lady at the front said the doctor doesn't know how to do this... To me that is like being a dentist who doesn't know how to count your teeth. What the lady meant is they only do this if you are buying glasses from Sams club... if you are going to save serious money and buy glasses online, you will need to go to another eye doctor. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. I wish I had.
