Sam's Club Optical

After I was unable to be seen at America’s Best due to them running behind schedule I made a last minute at another optometrist thinking it was this location. When I arrived, during what was displayed to be open hours, the door was locked. A man from inside came and unlocked the door and opened it only a crack and proceeded to be extremely hostile and rude. I had made the appointment online and said that it must have been my mistake when looking at the location but even as I retreated he continued to berate me and demand to see my confirmation on the website. I would not recommend advertising that walk ins are welcome if this is how you treat a customer coming off the street. Had there been availability due to the convenience of already being there I would have quickly switched my eye care to this location, however due to the severe lack of common courtesy I will never visit this location and hope that Sam’s Club chooses to partner with another practice as to not bring them more business.

Dr. Li is truly amazing. To be honest I was annoyed at having to wait so long, but once my kid got in the exam room I understood why it took so long to be seen. Dr. Li is a kind, patient and thorough examiner. It is so rare to find an emphatic and understanding provider nowadays. The way he explained her eye condition was so helpful and easily understood. So I say be patient if you have to wait for him to finish up with the person before you, as he is taking his time with them to ensure they get the best care as he will also do for you.

I'll say it again The doctor and the optical department at Sam's are two different entities. Those girls are wonderful in there. Very helpful, will repair your glasses while you shop,saved me on a couple occasions.

Folks need to remember that the Doctor is NOT the Sam’s Club Optical. I went to unaffiliated Dr here and like many of the reviews, it was a terrible experience. Slow, receptionist was argumentative and basically, unhelpful. I finally went to a different Dr 2 years ago and it was a much better experience. Now as for the Sam’s Club Optical team…I have been coming here for years (10+) and they are absolutely awesome! I have had broken glasses, they fixed them. Lost glasses, they replaced them. I even had one pair that the focal point was off and they remade them 3 times to get it right! As I said, they are awesome!!!

Hours online are wrong. Receptionist was not able to provide any advice on a different doctor in the area. They decide when they want to stop taking walkins even though I showed up 1 hour and 15 minutes before the "door" closing time says. Dont even waste your time coming here.
