Dr. Rowe is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and has outstanding bedside manner. While I have seen other eye specialists who provided good care, Dr. Rowe takes patient care to another level. He took the time to educate me on practical steps I can take to help preserve my eyesight, including simple do’s and don’ts that have already made a meaningful difference. I never felt rushed, and he ensured that all of my questions were answered thoroughly. His expertise, attention to detail, and genuine concern for his patients are evident in every aspect of his care. I highly recommend Dr. Rowe to anyone seeking an eye specialist. He is truly one of the best physicians I have encountered. Darlene

Staff and doctor were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I was given an extensive eye exam, and explained all options going forward. Extremely glad I chose Eye Care of Napa Valley for my eye care concerns. Thank you for caring, Laurie
Dr. Kim and Dr. Ro were very professional and I appreciated their attention to my medical emergency. I had forgotten my phone, but the computer attendant called my husband and left a message. His phone was having problems, but he arrived to pick me up Because Inwas dizzy and traumatized from the sudden laser surgery that I was grateful for, but unprepared for. I was not great at navigating my way to the surgery room and the nurse or medical assistant told me to go back and get my purse in the room. and in order to get my purse I had to drop my head down to the low chair. I went to use the bathroom, and I could not see to walk carefully at that time. After I got out of the lavatory, she was not there with papers that the computer person had copied for me from the beginning of the appointment: copies of what I signed. She was no longer there by the lavatory and I was left alone to navigate my way out into the main waiting.room. I got no written instructions on how to go forward with care of my eye except the doctor said ‘keep your head raised.’ I understand that he was very dedicated and was expedient in saving my retina, but I suggest that after a surgery that was unexpected, someone on staff should not abandon the patient and should be more compassionate and knowledgeable and be helpful and treat a patient with care and does and not just leave them in the main room with all that is going on and no instructions. There needs to be a staff meeting on protocol for compassionate care for all patients no matter how busy they may be. Luckily my husband got the message and got there to drive home. It was very disorganized and chaotic as a patient who has been lucky enough to be treated with care at other medical facilities.
There was a rather long wait, but once the overall examination and in-take process started, the staff and the doctor were most pleasant. & highly professional.a suggestion would be to have staff member come out to apologize for the long wait and tell the client “We apologize for the wait, but we shall be with you soon!” Simple, but reassuringly polite!
Dr. Row has been my eye doctor since I had my cataracts removed and lens implanted. I have been very pleased with my care and my results! I love going in for follow ups and the office staff is amazing!
