Sam’s Club Optical

Never having gone to Sam's Club for my eyes before I was rather leery but I'd heard good things about them and the exam fees were very reasonable so I decided to give them a try. I went in for a contact and eyeglass prescription. The Doctor who examined me was thorough and very professional. Since I wear contacts all the time I only get new eyeglasses about every 5 years or so. It was time for me to update my lenses as well so I went ahead and ordered a new pair. I'm so glad I did. I have a very strong prescription so it always is quite expensive for me to purchase new eyeglasses with the specialty lenses in them (that's without adding in the ridiculous prices they usually charge for frames as well). I was shocked at how affordable my new frames and lenses were and I love them! After wearing the glasses for a few days I realized that the frames did need some adjustments, as new frames usually do since they fit differently on everyone. I went back in and it was a quick and easy fix. If you don't have vision insurance and you're tired of paying the high costs just to get a refill on your prescription for contacts or glasses, I highly recommend giving Sam's Club a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. I certainly wasn't!

Was told 3 weeks until my new glasses would arrive. It's been almost 5 weeks now. Went in to see what was going on. Apparently, wherever my glasses were made, they screwed up and made a divot in one of the lenses. Now, i have to wait again. Someone should have at least called to inform me, instead of walking in to see what the issue was. Overall, I do not recommend you get glasses here.

This was the Best experience I have Ever had during an eye exam and I have had many in my lifetime. Laura Carbone, O.D. was everything you hope any medical provider will be: efficient, friendly and So comfortable to be with. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experience she made it, simply by being really good at her job and relaxingly nice. In addition, both of the people I interacted with to make my appointment and to check in etc., were genuinely friendly, polite and efficient. I am so happy and relieved to have found the place I will be going to from now on. Great prices and results. Thank you, so much!!

I have attempted to get an appointment here three times. Finally I was able to get an appointment here and made a mistake on my time, I stood in front of the register for 20 minutes while three women walked back and forth in front of me never one with a smile never one with an inquiry. After raising my voice to get some attention, I finally was able to get somebody to look at me. I asked about my appointment and she rudely said "your appointment is at 10:00 a.m." The people at this optometry clinic are the rudest I have ever encountered. I guess when you have appointments 3 weeks out you don't have to offer customer service. It must be terribly hard for Sam's club to staff this optometry clinic if these are the people they choose to employ. I canceled my eye appointment. I will go somewhere else.
