The optical manager was less than helpful. Did not ask how he could help and acted like he was being put out. Mind you there wasn’t another customer, he wasn’t on the phone. I asked what steps I needed to take if I didn’t have my prescription. Was not impressed with that’s your problem not mine with a shoulder shrug. Came back after received the email prescription. As I was getting ready to get the email address to send to the optical department, he couldn’t do new lenses. What do mean you don’t do new lenses? He hasn’t gotten it repaired in 3 months and doesn’t seem to want get it fixed. No solutions with another shoulder shrug. Customer service is not in his vocabulary.

Had an absolutely amazing experience with one of the employees! I didn't get her name but she was so kind and helped me get exactly what I needed. She was clearly knowledgeable and made the process super easy.
We stopped by the Optical Center on Woodmen to order new eyeglasses. An employee, Austin, took care of us and couldn't have been nicer! He was extremely helpful, courteous, friendly and patient! He honored our preferences regarding frame styles etc. I highly recommend Austin at the Optical Center!
I have not had a good experience with this provider. Their process was not clearly disclosed when I had my first appointment. I have had to make a new appointment with the doctor just to pick up a trial pair of contacts. They are asking me to come back for a fourth time, and now with an additional $25 fee, because I waited too long to call and order the contacts I wanted. I asked if the doctor would please call me back to discuss and have waited a full week with no response. I feel as though I am being made to pay for no other reason than I annoyed them, I simply can't see justifying an extra fee just for me to come in and give my order. No additional services have been provided. And to simply ignore a call back request is a big deal. I'm hoping store management will help me, but I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. If you decide to go, ask for a full explanation of what to expect, first.
Dr. Ragsdale just seems to be stuck in her life. I can't hold is against her, but this was truly the most disappointing, lifeless, unfriendly medical appointment of my life. I left my appointment and called the friend who added me to their Sam's Club account, and she remembered Dr. Ragsdale from three years ago. She said she had a horrible appointment back then too and would never go back, not because she was bad, but just because she seemed miserable. I didn't even feel comfortable asking questions about my vision. I only went to Sam's Club because they said they had a better price, but with the hidden costs with both an eyeglass and contacts prescription, it ended up costing more than going to a professional company. I would have been fine with the price if the doctor had been communicative or... even slightly interested. I hope she gets fired, in the very best way, so that she might find something else in her life that doesn't make her miserable. I HIGHLY suggest just going to America's Best or any other place. I've been in the past, and it turned out they were actually cheaper.
