Sam’s Club Optical

Did price comparisons with 2 other national optical vendors, to make prescription eyeglasses ((with me providing frames). SAMS was by FAR the lowest price! The staff was professional & courteous in providing a written price guarantee...good for 30 days. Once having glasses made..pick up came a few days earlier than estimated...and the quality of the finished glasses was excellent. The progressive lenses has greatly improved my reading of print material.

They do not take insurance. I was told by the doctor and receptionist that I was responsible for a $200 out of pocket fee. The doctor and receptionist then start talking bad about another patient that wanted to use the same insurance I inquired about right in front of me. As I was trying to leave and declining my appointment, the receptionist then goes on to tell me that I won’t be able to find a eye appointment anywhere else without a copay and waiting lists are too long. I called a vision source and got a appointment the next day WITH NO COPAY. The staff is very unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable.

Visit was absolutely wonderful! Everything was explained thoroughly and very nicely, will definitely be making this my regular place =]
