I went to Sam’s Optical planning to purchase Meta smart glasses. The staff was nice enough to hold them for me so I wouldn’t make a wasted trip, which I appreciated. However, when I arrived, it took quite a while for them to even locate the box for the glasses. Once they finally found it, the salesperson started ringing up the purchase without offering me a chance to inspect the frames first. Good thing I checked - there was a very noticeable scratch right on the top front of the $400 frame. When I pointed it out, the salesperson simply said, “Well, you don’t have to buy it if you don’t want to,” which made it seem like they already knew about the defect and were hoping I wouldn’t notice. Overall, it was a disappointing and time-wasting experience. I left without the glasses I came for, and with a poor impression of the store’s transparency and quality control.

I used the same Dr. as usual, he suggested I try Sam's for the glasses since they were closer. Worst pair of glasses I've ever had. Also, warranty was out before I realized the glasses were bad and it wasn't just me getting used to new glasses.
