It started seven months ago when I paid $150 for a contact lens fitting for my daughter. About three months later, she told me she could no longer see well with the contacts, so we had to go back to Costco New Berlin Shuster optical for a refitting, and I was charged another $100. After that, the doctor left without notifying us, and there was no communication about next steps. I had to call the office in Menomonee Falls just to find out what was going on, only to learn that the trial contact lenses had been left in New Berlin. This resulted in a lot of unnecessary back and forth. At this point, I’m just going to try the current trial lenses and call them if they still don’t fit. Overall, the process has been disorganized, poorly communicated, and frustrating from start to finish. I would not return to this doctor. Our previous provider, Dr. Dorman, is no longer there, and the level of care has clearly declined. I would not recommend this location.

Dr Schuster and his staff are friendly, professional and efficient. Modern equipment and Dr. Schuster is up to date on current techniques while being well versed in older technology like my gas permeable hard lenses.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Schuster at the Menomonee Falls clinic for several years and we have always been very pleased! The staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. The clinic is clean and equipped with state-of-the art equipment. Dr. Schuster is the most thorough eye doctor we've ever had! He explains things well and is very patient, kind, and professional. Dr. Schuster was thorough, clear, and kind during my eye exam. He explained my results, answered every question, and never made me feel rushed. I’ve since recommended him to family who were also very happy with their visits.

Had an appointment 6 weeks ago which went fine. Paid for a contacts fitting at the appointment and was told contacts would be there in about 2 weeks. After 4 weeks with no communication I stopped in and inquired about them and was told they were never ordered but they would be expedited so I should hear from them very soon. I waited another 2 weeks and had no communication. I called and was told the contacts were there. I asked why there was no communication and I was told Costco never told them they were in (it might be because I was polite when inquiring about delays, but I would think when a service provider mistakenly doesn't give good service they would continually check to make up for it). I will go to my fitting and then look for another eye care facility.
