Overall, the process has been disorganized, poorly communicated, and frustrating from start to finish. I would not return to this doctor. Our previous provider, Dr. Dorman, is no longer there, and the level of care has clearly declined. I would not recommend this location.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Schuster at the Menomonee Falls clinic for several years and we have always been very pleased! The staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. The clinic is clean and equipped with state-of-the art equipment. Dr. Schuster is the most thorough eye doctor we've ever had! He explains things well and is very patient, kind, and professional. We definitely recommend Schuster Family Eyecare

Dr. Schuster was thorough, clear, and kind during my eye exam. He explained my results, answered every question, and never made me feel rushed. I’ve since recommended him to family who were also very happy with their visits.

Had an appointment 6 weeks ago which went fine. Paid for a contacts fitting at the appointment and was told contacts would be there in about 2 weeks. After 4 weeks with no communication I stopped in and inquired about them and was told they were never ordered but they would be expedited so I should hear from them very soon. I waited another 2 weeks and had no communication. I called and was told the contacts were there. I asked why there was no communication and I was told Costco never told them they were in (it might be because I was polite when inquiring about delays, but I would think when a service provider mistakenly doesn't give good service they would continually check to make up for it). I will go to my fitting and then look for another eye care facility.

Extremely Disappointed with the Menomonee Falls Location I normally visit the New Berlin location and have never had an issue, but due to scheduling I was booked at the Menomonee Falls office. I drove over 40 minutes and, due to traffic, called ahead and left a voicemail saying I’d be about 12 minutes late. Typically, there’s a 15-minute grace period, so I expected that to be acceptable. When I arrived, I was told I couldn't be seen—even though the optometrist wasn’t even present yet and only walked in at 2:18 PM. I had arrived and was updating my paperwork before the 15-minute window had passed, yet I was still turned away. I explained the situation and offered to wait nearby in case their next patient didn’t show. At 2:39 PM, they called to say I could come back. I told them I was checking out from Costco and would head over right after. There was no urgency communicated—nothing like “you need to come right now.” I arrived back at 2:51 PM, only to be told they couldn’t see me because the next appointment was at 3:00 PM. When I asked why they called me at all, I was told, “We thought you were right here.” This experience was not only frustrating but felt like I was being strung along. The lack of communication and basic professionalism was astonishing. I will never return to the Menomonee Falls location, and I highly recommend thinking twice before booking here.
