This was my first time visiting this Eye Center at Walmart and it did not disappoint. I started by picking my glasses with this amazing young lady named Michele who is extremely sweet and professional and not to mention super patient. Dr.Hügel was also super sweet knowledgeable and extremely thorough. This was my first time going there and it will not be my lash. I was extremely happy with the visit and cannot wait to make them my permanent vision center. Also, they have a great selection of eyewear that are reasonably priced.

My visit was good. The eye doctor was beautiful soul and very intelligent. But, I was disappointed in the customer service. I called in to this walmart to check if they accepted my insurance and its benefits. I was asked to give my card information to verify. My main goal was to come get glasses and a good eye exam from doctors that are professional. I was told my insurance was accepted, appointment was made for 9:30am by the associate. So I get there , go through the exam which was great. I was told to meet at the counter. The representative there stated I owed 90 dollars and that my insurance didnt cover the visit. I only came for an exam an glasses that I was told was covered and insurance accepted prior to the appointment per verification. Now the doctor mentioned contacts as I came in with them but not to buy. I got ones to try. I had no problem picking up contacts later down the line. But my insurance wasnt accepted!!! I had an unexpected pay of 90.00 dollars for the visit. Just because someone did not type my info in the system an specifically go over what I was covered for at their place of business. Times are rough in America. Every dollar counts and that was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would have never made the appointment! That was the purpose of the call to verify! This has nothing to do with the exam or eyedoctor who is completely great and professional. This is towards the associate not doing their job.
I had a very pleasant experience and everyone was so nice. I really like the convenience of it being so close to home but I would absolutely recommend it and I look forward to the next appointment.
My vision appointment went great. I didn’t realize there was a new doctor there. She was great. She explained everything and didn’t leave me trying to figure out what’s what. Thank you again.
I’m her grandmother who brought her there and they treated my seven year-old granddaughter like a princess everyone from the front desk to the doctor was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone.
