The doctor I saw was amazing, but just like the majority of the reviews the front office/administration is just strange. To get an appointment you have to drive there, Pick up the paperwork, complete it, come back, and then they will take the paperwork and 7-10 days later someone will call you. They do not have email, I don't even think they really use computers, and the only way to pay for services is by (you guessed it)... going back in or mailing a check. I must add, I have never felt so shamed for showing up to an appt and not bringing my contact lense case. Typically, at all my previous eye doctors they would test my vision with them on, then have me take them off and put them in a case, and go from there, the front office staff made me feel somewhat shunned. Really strange. Despite all of this, there's no other eye doctors in the area that take VSP.... and I really did like the doctor I saw. 🙄🤷🏼♀️

I went to make an appointment as a new patient. The receptionist said they can only do that if I fill out a bunch of paperwork and take it in showing photo ID, proof of insurance, and so on. Only after this, they would call me back to make an appointment. This is way overkill for a simple eye appointment that while I have insurance, I could just as easily pay cash for. Something very strange here!
The fake niceness when telling me oh you haven't been here for an appointment for over three years so you're considered a new patient so the wait for an appointment will be 4 to 6 months was enough to just walk out. Wait so if I buy a year's supply of contacts right before my contact prescription expires or my glasses don't break for 3 years then I'm a new patient how does that make sense. I have always been the type to treat others how I want to be treated.
My whole family has been going to Sequim Vision Clinic for 15+ years. The staff is always polite, kind, and accommodating. Not only is Dr. Young nicest person you could ever meet. She is very professional and always makes her patients a priority. She takes her time during the exam and listens to your concerns. Then explains everything in a way that you can understand. I am always confident that I am getting the best care possible. Thank you from Anna & Bill and family ;)
Receptionist was not very friendly and i had to wait 6 months for an appt!
