From the moment I entered the office I was greeted by one of the receptionists and she asked which doctor that I was scheduled to see and gave me the sheet to sign in. I barely sat down and they were ready for me! The doctor did a very detailed exam and then explained what my issue was and how to treat it. This is one of the best eye doctors that I’ve been to and will definitely be back for other exams and glasses!

This review has no connectivity to my Caterac Surgeries. I guess any medical office has procedures for payment etc. I have both good health and vision coverages. Monaca location show up for eye exam that was as I found out not set up properly for diabetes exam. Then hey pay us $80.00 for a refraction. Me how about file a claim a had so many procedures with them I got frustrated. Receptionist didn't have a clue whatsoever. I told her cancel my appointment. Noone cared to look at my insurance. They were most likely training and or literate to address patients concerns.
Front desk receptionists are extremely rude and unprofessional. Twice I have made appointments only to be called to cancel and rebook. When I asked why, Courtney explained the doctor was overbooked. Courtney rudely informed me that if I wouldn't reschedule my wait time could be 4-5 hours. Not my fault they do not know how to schedule correctly 2 months prior for an appointment. Most of the patients are elderly and treated like throw aways. My mother and I are looking for another office that has respect for elderly patients.
Both eyes had cataracts. Arranging surgery takes time so beginning from the beginning of February with, checking vision, measurement, scheduling, pre-meds, until May 29th was the last appointment. No hiccups, and great results. but a long process.
I’ve been going to Dr. Smith for over 30 years when I found out he was joining Swickley Eye group. I was worried that I would not be able to see him that I’d have to go between doctors there, but I have an emergency and I got an appointment there I get very comfortable with the doctor. They saw me and with the staff there I still would prefer to see Dr. Smith but I do know that he is still there and if I needed him, I could see him thank you once again for the great experience.
