I Was Well Pleased with my Visit. Staff was Friendly, Helpful Treated Patients with High Most Respect.
I took my Dad here for new eye glasses in September. He had always used Walmart in the past but because of his age ( 89 ) we thought he should go to an actual eye specialist to get examined. At first it went well. When he received the glasses he told me he was seeing double and could not see out of his new glasses. We went back and they adjusted them. They would never check the prescription nor let him see or talk to the eye doctor. It just kept getting worse. We went in and they adjusted the fit again. Still the same results. I called the office last week. He refused again to see him, stating it was probably ha combination of blood pressure and his AC1 numbers. I was told this by one of his assistants. She also told me he would see him in three weeks or more to let his blood pressure and AC1 level out. Well the assisted living center check his blood sugar and blood pressure every day and in checking these I discovered that all in all they were pretty level. I took him to His PCP were they also felt he was very good for his age and were stable. PCP gave me a letter to take to the eye doctor stating these facts. I took the letter to Seymour Eye Clinic and spoke with the assistant that called me three times the day before. To say the least she was happy. She said very firmly with an attitude that SHE WAS TIERD OF BEING THE MIDDLE MAN. She then told me she woy have the doctor call me. It's been over a week and he never called. We went to a different eye doctor today. The prescription he was given was completely wrong. Also one of the lenses had fallen out of the new glasses. What was really amazing to me was when he tried to read the eye chart he could read it much much better without his new glasses. I would have given this business a zero if I could.
