Dr. Shah is awesome. He listened to all of my concerns. My glasses prescription is perfect. I've already recommended him to all my friends in DeKalb.

Dr Shah was dismissive and rude. He didn’t share clinical information with me about my eyes or inform me about my health. He didn’t really even get to know me, but instead handed most of the screening portion of the appointment over to a staff member. While she was sweet and capable, she’s not a trained eye doctor and she was doing all the work while he hid out audibly playing games on his phone. I left feeling very confused about what or even if I had any vision needs and feeling very dismissed by the doctor. I’ll be seeking a new place for my vision needs and I highly recommend others do the same.

Shah Vision Consultants, located inside Eyemart Express in Rockford, Illinois, is hands down the best place for eye care around. The office is super easy to find right off State Street, which makes appointments simple and convenient. What really sets Dr. Shah apart is that he actually takes the time to listen and thoroughly check your vision and your needs. You never feel rushed or treated like just another number. Unlike some places where you deal with rotating “rent-a-doctors” or get pushed into virtual appointments, Dr. Shah and his staff are right there in person, ready to help and answer questions. After your appointment, you can walk right over to Eyemart Express and get very affordable glasses, often ready in as little as 18 minutes, which is amazing when you have a busy family. I bring my entire family of eight here because we trust the care and appreciate how professional and friendly everyone is. I will happily travel to Janesville or Rockford to see Dr. Shah because the care is that good. If you're looking for a knowledgeable optometrist who truly cares about patients, I highly recommend Shah Vision Consultants. 👓✨

Had a great experience today with Dr Tiana Markovic. The past two years I’ve been having some vision changes that my previous eye Dr told me was a slight astigmatism that probably wasn’t worth correcting. I’ve been struggling through driving at night and having tension headaches because my vision was just a bit off. Dr Markovic was very thorough and ordered two different prescriptions that I could trial before ordering to be sure that we got it just right. Everyone at the office was polite and helpful. I am glad that I had a change in vision insurance and chose to go here because I finally can see clearly again. Thank you.

Tremendous experience at the DeKalb office. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Shah was very knowledgeable and made everything easy and stress-free.
