Plenty of parking, outdoor or parking garage available with accessible ramp. Clean and well maintained bldg overall. Signage is informative and allowed for way finding without asking for directions. Intake staff can use improved customer service skills but therapist was on point and patient area was tidy.
The worst customer service of all time … anyone who works in scheduling .. front desk / answering phones, has to be the worse most miserable people of all time. They don’t care; they are rude and act like they don’t want to help. Although I love all of my doctors, trying to schedule an appointment is by far worse than getting some teeth pulled.
I’m extremely disappointed with the care my daughter received at this office. During our visits, I corrected the doctor multiple times regarding my daughter’s information. Despite me providing the correct information and even following up in writing with proof, the doctor deflected and refused to acknowledge the correction. I was not initially planning to make a complaint, but after reviewing my daughter’s after-visit summary and seeing that the information I had already corrected was still recorded incorrectly, I felt I had no choice. It is truly unacceptable and deeply concerning. It’s disheartening to see a provider disregard a parent’s informed input, especially when it directly affects a child’s care. I would sincerely hope that no other parent (mother or father) has to experience the same level of dismissal or be led in the wrong direction simply because the provider assumes their authority outweighs the parent’s understanding.
Front Desk Pediatrics I have always been satisfied with the service I received at this facility, but my experience this morning was unusual. When I checked my daughter in for a doctor's appointment, a male staff member in his mid-20s asked if my daughter was born in California. I was taken aback by this question, as it had never been asked of me before with either of my children. Additionally, I noticed that none of the other parents checking in their children were asked this question. I hope that this was not a case of discrimination. Despite this incident, I have always had a great experience at Sharp Rees-Stealy in Otay. Doctor and other staff member were great!
