I went to Dr. Dibenedetto in 2023 for the first time and really liked him. I also, found out he was a relative to my husband's uncle, so we spent some time talking about family. I called in 2024 twice to schedule my annual visit, but nobody would return my call. I called this year three times and left messages again with the same result, no call back. I'm hoping he sees this unfavorable rating and cares enough to find out what is going on with his office staff. It seems like from reading other reviews that this happens frequently and is a consistent pattern. My husband is Gene and our relative is Uncle Leon, hopefully that will jog your memory. Have a great day!

I have been going to this office for 25 years and started out with Dr. Dean when I was very young. I have always loved going to this office until my most recent visit. with Dr. Benidetto. He has always been very kind and so has his office staff. He has since hired Lynette that now works in the office whom I have never met. I questioned some of the forms that I was asked to fill out and immediately was given attitude by Lynette with her laughing and smirking at me stating I was wrong and I’ve paid the fees before but just do not remember. I’m fine with paying the fees but as a patient I have the right to question what I am going to be paying for. I was waiting to be called back and was told to please step outside where Lynette shared with me that she spoke with Dr. Benidetto and he was dismissing my appointment for the day. I requested to speak with him and she said he did not want to speak with me and I needed to leave. I then requested again after some back and forth and she “asked” him again if he would speak with me and she said he refused and I needed to leave because they were dismissing me as a patient. I have loved going to this office for 25 years and have always been treated very kindly but I do not recommend ever going there now with the way they treat their patients.
I’m so glad I found O’Neal Eyecare! I found them on my insurance list, and luckily made an appointment there instead of one of the big box vision spots. A great experience all around. They got me in quickly, I didn’t wait once there, and every staff member I spoke to was friendly and helpful. Dr. Dibenedetto was fantastic, a great combination of knowledgeable and friendly. There’s no reason to look anywhere else for your vision needs, this is the spot.
Been to many optometrists and eye care service businesses throughout Baton Rouge in my 35 years, as I've needed help with poor vision since I was 10 (nearsighted). Wore eyeglasses for roughly 5 years, then contact lenses ever since...wearing them for long lengths of time before taking out and cleaning as I haven't had the extra funds for a pair of glasses for some time now, and am able to only take out 1 contact at a time to sit in solution and let eye breathe, rest afterwards as I can't see nearly a thing without any assistance. The optometrist at Oneal is not only much friendlier than any other I've had experience with, but was also able to provide the most comfortable and and clear vision via soft lense contacts that I've ever seen or tried before, as I thought my current prescriptions vision was not possible to achieve through contacts. Before, I was either lucky for my lenses to be either fairly clear and provide decent vision, or have them comfortably fit, but never both. He has me seeing clearly and well above good 20/20 standard vision and almost seeing 20/10 majority of letters. I've never been happier and recall feeling as if I had seen the first HD TV again and the dramatic difference in picture quality and color that jump made, yet even more so and I could see everything great again
I had metal stuck in my eye hospital couldn't get they told me it was stuck and I would have to wait till monday I called his emergency number and left a message he called back timely and seen me within a hour on a sunday props to a awesome doctor
