As always, I received the very best patient care at Sight MD in Brick Township, NJ. I called with kind of an urgent need for care and the staff was very understanding and accommodating. I was able to see Doctor Anil Birdie within just a couple of hours. Sight MD Doctors, techs, and office staff continue to provide the very best patient care for my family. I appreciate this Eye Care Group so much. Thank You! Dan L

I have been a patient at the Brick location for the past three years, and the only reason I’ve continued coming back is because Dr. Joseph Tulipani and Dr. Christopher D’Alrerio are excellent physicians. They are knowledgeable, professional, and provide outstanding care. Unfortunately, the front office and overall management are a completely different story. Every year I have the exact same issue with my Davis Vision benefits. This office is listed as a full-service Davis Vision provider, yet the staff consistently have little to no knowledge of how to process a contact lens order through the Davis Vision Collection. Every visit, I have to explain my own insurance benefits, provide documentation, and even call Davis Vision while standing at the front desk because the staff either don’t know how the benefit works or don’t take the time to look into it. Instead of trying to help, I’m often dismissed or spoken to as though I don’t understand my own insurance. Last year I eventually gave up and paid a copay that I later learned I should never have been charged. Today’s visit was the final straw. Despite having an appointment, I waited 45 minutes to be seen because the office was severely understaffed. After my exam, I asked to order my contacts through Davis Vision and was told to wait for Ashley. After waiting even longer, she told me she didn’t know how to process Davis Vision orders. I could tell she was trying to help, and I honestly don’t blame her personally because it seemed like she was put in a difficult position without the training or support she needed. When I tried to explain the benefit, she interrupted me, incorrectly stated that the office doesn’t order contacts through Davis Vision, then called another office, handed me the phone saying, “Here, they’ll explain it to you,” and walked away while I was still trying to speak with her. I’ve never experienced such dismissive and unprofessional behavior from front office staff. By this point, nearly two hours had passed since my appointment time, and I still couldn’t order my contacts. Another front desk employee even told me, “I don’t know why people still come to this office for contacts. This place is terrible,” and said she was ready to walk out herself because of how understaffed they were. She then said she would simply copy last year’s claim instead of verifying my current benefits and that someone would order my contacts whenever they had time. When I asked how many boxes would be covered under my plan, I was rushed out without an answer. As a healthcare provider myself, I understand that busy days happen. This wasn’t about the wait—it was about the repeated lack of training, poor communication, and disrespect shown to patients. After three years, this office still cannot properly process a standard Davis Vision benefit for one of the insurance plans they participate with. That reflects a failure of management, training, and leadership. It’s incredibly unfortunate because the doctors deserve five stars. However, the front office experience has become so frustrating that I’m seriously considering finding another practice. Patients should not have to educate office staff on their own insurance benefits or fight every year to receive services that are clearly covered.
Dr Almallah was very easy to talk to and explained everything about cataract surgery. His explanation was vey easy to understand and answered all my concerns. He was knowledgeable and very professional. Office extremely clean and beautifully designed which made me very comfortable.Staff extremely helpful ,pleasant and knowledgeable as well as professional. Extremely pleased with Doctor as well as staff . All in all a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend Dr Almallah .
I like Dr. D'Alterio and your staff. It is very easy to schedule appointments. However, I ended up missing my appointment scheduled after seeing Dr.D'Alterio as my appointment today lasted 1hour and 45minutes. I anticipate my appointments lasting 1 hour, almost 2 hours is a bit much. Do not know if the doctor is over booked or always runs behind schedule.
Showed up for my follow-up appointment and they told me the doctor was running 2 hours late do I want to wait. Absolutely not thank you anyway this is the second time that had happened.. 3 weeks later they sent a bill for $25 for not showing for my appointment despite my wife calling three separate times they never called back to clarify the issue And now I'm in collections for 25 so congratulations not only did you lose two patients you got a bad review to boot... watch out for this Practice clearly they don't care About anything but billing you
