I normally don’t leave reviews, but after my experience with Dr. Riker, I feel compelled to. I came in with a genuine concern that had been impacting my daily life for weeks. Instead of being met with empathy or clarity, I was given vague, dismissive advice and a rushed exam. He barely took the time to explain my condition, recommended treatments that didn’t align with my symptoms, and the only thing he wrote down for me was a questionable eye drop that made my condition worse. What bothered me the most wasn’t just the lack of thorough care—it was the energy. It felt like I was a burden, not a patient. When you’re dealing with something affecting your vision, you need a doctor who listens, who’s present, and who actually wants to help you heal. I left the appointment more confused and frustrated than when I walked in. And if I hadn’t taken my recovery into my own hands—researching, adjusting, and learning on my own—I’d probably still be suffering. I hope this review helps someone else walk into this office with eyes open, no pun intended. Patients deserve better. Period.
