Sight Medical Doctors

I rated today’s visit with a low score because I had a 9:15 a.m. appointment and I never was called in for my exam until I approached the checkout desk at 10:15. I sat in the waiting area and watched at least 6 people get called ahead of me that had arrived after me. I was frustrated at the excessive wait time. The employees behind the desk were very helpful and told me that their system indicated that o had already checked out when I certainly had not. Dr Goldenberg was very friendly and professional and moved the appointment along quickly. I still didn’t get checked out until approximately 10:45. Way too long for a 9:15 appointment.

Dr Sambursky is amazing! He's very professional, has a good strong manly handshake, which I always find soothing and reassuring, and it's very knowledgeable. My son's eyesight has been bad, and is continually gotten worse. We knew he had a stigmatism, but it never found anyone to actually fix it. Dr Sambursky not only told us how to strengthen it but my sons eyesight has actually improved. For the first time in years! I think he's wonderful.

Dr. Sambursky takes the time to listen to & address your concerns. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable & professional. The office is clean, large & bright.

I had a case of shingles very close to my eye. The walk-in dr wanted me to be seen by an eye dr. I gave her the number to Dr. Goldenberg’s office, she called for an emergency appointment, and was told I would have to call them. We were close enough to the office so drove over instead of calling. We were met with “we are short-staffed”, “not sure we can get you in”,…I told them I wasn’t leaving until I was seen and had a prescription in hand, they magically found a few minutes to fit me in with Dr. Goldenberg. We waited 20 minutes or so and then we saw the doctor. Everything went fine from there. I’m thankful it all worked out. But getting through to the office is very difficult now that they’ve gone with Sight-MD because the calls go in to Long Island and then they have to figure out which office to put you with.

It took me over an hour to schedule an appointment for an acute problem today. The call was routed overseas, and I could hardly understand the person I was speaking to. I ended up booking it online where my only option was to book for a cosmetic procedure, even though it was an acute medical problem. Since this office joined Sight MD I have been accused of not paying a bill. It was over a year old. The doctors there have always been great, but after the recent experience, I doubt I’ll be returning back. I have never given such a low rating before and I am a retired nurse so this is not given lightly. When I expressed my frustration, everybody agreed with me, but said they could do nothing. I even got a phone call while I was in the waiting room asking Me if I wanted to make an appointment. I explained to the person that I was sitting in the office and why were they calling me to schedule an appointment to which I also could not get an answer.
