My stay here at Kearsley has been great, I really enjoy the angels that are working here. There are so many that have come to me at times when I needed them. Yesterday I had to get to a very important hematology appointment and the administrator Brian, he went the extra mile to get me a ride so I can make my appointment , his staff, the nurses, the CNA's they, all come in and help me. I appreciate people that take care of me and I'm gonna take care of them as soon as I get back on my feet. I'm gonna let them know how much I appreciate them. I would recommend Kearsley for rehab.

Went 2 visit my folks and was thoroughly impressed at the grounds and the empathetic nature of the staff . I was even offered a cup of ice ! Very kid friendly …… take some treats for the residents & staff - it goes a long way : )
This was my second time at Kearsley and I continue to find the nurses and nursing staff to be very very helpful and pleasant. The food seems to have changed from last year when I was here, it was better then. The physical therapy was also very good and the therapists are very helpful.
My sister has been a patient at Kearsley Rehabilitation and Nursing for two months Before we made the decision for her to go there we were told it had been upgraded to five stars. Since she has been there she has a bedsore, which started because she wasn't being changed timely. Everytime I have visited her she is wet. She constantly pushes the help button and know one comes and if they do they turn it off and say they will be back. I was there yesterday May 26rh. Before I arrived she told me she was wet. When I got there at 2:30pm I didn't see anyone on the floor. My sister was soak and wet. I went to desk the person I spoke to saus she would call someone. I then called the Administrator of Nurses. My sister was not changed until almost 4:00pm By this time her clothing were wet. Also because she sat so long without being changed she now has small blisters on her buttocks. There is one Nurse who is phenomenal her name is Rosa. Unfortunately Rosa was not there earlier. She came in at 3:00 and had to do what should have been done before she started. I was told they changing shifts. I was told that should not matter when a person needs to be changed
This is my first time needing help with my day to day life I live on the independent side of the castle of Kearsley I’m familiar with most of the staff and they are always nice and helpful. Now I am here for rehabilitation and I couldn’t have picked a better facility. The people are even better at their jobs. I feel comfortable here and well taken care of even tho I’m use to being self sufficient they make it easy. Good people.
