I have never experienced anything like this before. This doctor is truly amazing. He takes his time. Nothing about this appointment was overwhelming. He is truly gem and the staff is amazing. I was almost scared to put up this review because I want all this service to myself. lol. I finally found eye care that cares.
The optomistis is nice enough, but at check out they had a ton of hideen fees. When I picked out glasses they charged me too much, and put a credit on my account. The only reason I went back a second time was to use the credit, and I explicitly requested them to not perform any serves my insurance doesn't cover. They proceeded to charge me again for those hidden fees and tried to gaslight me that they confirmed I wanted those services. They then also said that the credit on my account was actually a debit and I owed them even more money. A total scam.
The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my visit. My appointment started a few minutes early, which I appreciated. The doctor explained everything he was doing and the results to me clearly. The selection of frames and lens options was excellent. Lots of options. The staff made the costs clear to me at every step and explained which frames were and were not covered by my insurance. I would recommend this provider to anybody. 10/10 first experience.
I love that I found Dr. Sobel! I was diagnosed with keratoconus in my right eye in 2015 and 2019 for my left. My previous eye doctor was giving me the runaround for years. My first call the receptionist was so nice. My first appointment was so welcoming and thorough. Dr. Sobel is annoying. I now have my contact lenses and can see clearly. I’m super excited because I haven’t seen this clear in years not even with glasses on.
Dr. Sobel provided a thorough and comprehensive evaluation, taking the time to address my specific eye care needs. After dealing with a foreign body in my eye for several weeks, he successfully irrigated the eye, providing much-needed relief. Additionally, Hope was exceptionally professional, ensuring I understood the available plan benefits so I could make an informed decision regarding my eyewear. I am grateful to have found such a knowledgeable and attentive team.
