I've been coming to this office for a number of years now and have no complaints. I've been seen at the appointment time and the people are helpful and take the time to answer any questions that I may have. If you're looking for eye care I would recommend this place without any hesitation

I did have to wait a few minutes past my appointment time, but the front office clerks were quite nice and the vision tech was friendly. The eyeglasses displays were well-organized and neat with a good selection of frames.
Yeah, I was not at all happy with the wait time for my routine eye appointment with pupil dilation on October 22, 2024. My appointment was at 3:10 PM, and I showed up at the Vacaville location about 20 minutes early to fill out the required updated paperwork—didn't take longer than 5 minutes, because my information from the system hasn't changed. It was simply providing my initials and signing. The receptionists at the front desk and staff were superb, friendly, and polite but somehow, I ended up leaving the office (after completing my routine exam) around 4:20 PM. Did the system overbook patients? I remember seeing several people waiting both in front of the reception area and inside the locked door's small corridor immediately outside the patient examination rooms. I believe Dr. Sandler was the only physician on duty that day. I didn't see Dr. Grimm yesterday. Between my arrival at 2:50 PM and leaving the office around 4:20 PM, that's 90 minutes for a routine eye exam with pupil dilation. I know it takes about 30 minutes for the dilation medicine to take effect after being administered. I've been coming to Solano Eye Specialists since 2020 on a as-needed basis mainly for eye exams as a glasses wearer. I don't know, what happened yesterday; however I was not-at-all pleased at the 90 minutes duration from check-in until check-out. Going forward, I am hoping the senior staff and admin provide a system or problem solving to address this kind of problems as to not to repeat any of the future and current patients!
I have been visiting Solano Eye Specialists for the past seven years, accompanying my mother-in-law for her appointments. I felt it was time to share our experiences. The clinic maintains a clean environment, and the staff is courteous, always willing to address our questions. However, a persistent issue has been the scheduling of appointments that fail to adhere to the promised times. On numerous occasions, we have experienced delays ranging from one to three hours before being seen. As of today, February 2024, we’ve already been waiting for over 30 minutes. My mother-in-law, who is handicapped and suffers from osteoporosis, finds it challenging to remain seated for such extended periods. These consistent delays are not only a logistical challenge but also a sign of disrespect to patients who cannot make other plans or risk missing subsequent appointments due to the uncertainty of when they will be seen. Unfortunately, this visit will be our last as we plan to seek services elsewhere due to these recurring delays.
During my cataract surgery Dr. Bradley Sandler held casual conversations through out my entire procedure with another operating room technician. As a result, I ended up with a blood shot eye. This was totally unprofessional, irresponsible, disrespectful, carelessness and disregard for my best interest as a patient in the hands of a doctor performing a delicate and critical surgery on my eye. I'm absolutely dissatisfied and disappointed from the outcome of my cataract surgery and the lack of focus, distraction and carelessness from this doctor Bradley Sandler. I will not be a future patient at Solano eye specialist. Bradley, I will not refer to him as a doctor, because he doesn't deserve the respect of that title. He's arrogant, has an attitude like he's disgusted with what he does for a living, rude and should retire from his job. You seem burned out dude. Find something else to do other than taking advantage of patients health insurance and Medicare performing substandard ophthalmology eye care. Take advice from a dissatisfied patient. My right eye currently has blurry vision from his inadequate practice. I would recommend any patient considering Bradley Sandler for eye surgery or care to run away from this dude before he distorts your vision like he did mine or worse, make you 🦯 🦮 😎. Your response is very lame Bradley. You would never admit that you screwed up my eye, but rather invent again lame excuses., that's because of your greed for financial gains. I would advise and truly hope that any future patient or current patients reconsider Solano Eye Specialist clinic for your eye care with Bradley Sandler.
