I needed to be seen and they fit me in. Staff was pleasant; doctor was professional and helpful. They all deserve to work in a clean and updated environment! The place smells like dead animals and the furniture is in very bad condition. When I commented on this, one staff member smiled and said “I tell everyone to write a review.”

Made an appointment to get contacts for the first time after having glasses for 12 years. Was SUPER excited anticipating the appointment. They canceled on me. What do they offer in return, might you ask? An appointment a month and a half away. You take it anyway. You are SUPER excited anticipating the appointment. You block two hours off at work to leave for this appointment that you have to pay completely out of pocket for. You wait 20 minutes before the clueless assistant named ?Kailee? tells you that they never ordered your trial lenses. Okay, awesome, it’s not like they had two months to prepare or anything. She says she is going to go check again. She comes back and says she spoke with the doctor, and these ones should be fine, referencing the ones in her hand. I ask if those are the ones that are my prescription. She says well they are the ones the doctor said I could use, I just got off the phone with her. Wow. How extremely disrespectful and just down right rude on her part. This is my EYES we are talking about here. She then says well if you don’t want to use these, you can just reschedule the appointment then. Right, let’s reschedule for a THIRD time due to YOUR mistakes. And what? I eat the the cost every time, missing work, rearranging my schedule, using my gas?? The receptionist joined in with the assistant that essentially this isn’t their problem. The office is disorganized and rude, BOTTOM LINE! Will NEVER RETURN! Hire competent people and maybe you won’t lose business.

The receptionist at the front door was vulgar and loud mouthed while we waited. I don’t think children need to hear the word suck as much as she was using it. We certainly didn’t need to hear her phone conversation from the waiting area. Plus she seemed to make patients wait until she was done on the phone. We saw Dr. Patton who was very pleasant and helped to relive some of the stress we were feeling. A huge thank you to her! And a few words to patients at this location. The waiting room is very small. Please keep your cell phones off or take it out in the hall. No one wants to hear about your life’s goings on. Voices don’t need to be heard by everyone. Children should have headphones if using their devices. You don’t live in the office and it shouldn’t be treated like “your space”

I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to do so in this case. This is the worst eyecare place I've ever been to. They do a terrible job explaining what they are doing during eye exams, schedule numerous follow-up appointments for things that can surely be done in one or two visits, and don't call back about results when they say they will. I'd trust a damn rock over these people. Fortunately there are many choices in the area for eyecare. I'd suggest any of them over this. Goodbye Solinsky Eyecare, you are terrible.
