South Florida Vision – Oakland Park

Very good office staff was very nice. I came back to get a second glasses. Ms. Chrissy was very helpful with scheduling my appointment. Best staff ever. I'm very satisfied with my glasses.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this office was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. On June 17th, I developed an infection in my left eye and was instructed by my doctor to stop wearing contact lenses for two weeks. The very next day, June 18th, I visited this office to order a pair of glasses so I could function while my eye healed. Four days passed, and the office still had not received my prescription from my previous doctor. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of what became one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I dealt with not one, but two employees from this office who were unprofessional and dismissive. The most troubling interaction was with Mr. Joey Spears. Rather than taking the time to listen and understand my concerns, he repeatedly interrupted me, argued with me over the phone, and spoke to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner. I was treated as though I were a child instead of a paying customer simply trying to resolve a problem. What should have been a simple conversation turned into an unnecessary confrontation. I felt insulted, belittled, and completely unappreciated as a customer. To make matters worse, when I ultimately requested a refund, I was shorted $40. That only added insult to injury. Customer service is about listening, showing empathy, and working toward a solution. Unfortunately, none of those qualities were demonstrated during my experience. I would not recommend this office to anyone. If this is how customers are treated when they have a legitimate concern, I would strongly suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Great experience with my comprehensive eye exam. Dr. Wright was very knowledgeable and explained things. Along with the girl at the front desk, and the guy fitting glasses... all friendly, non-pushy with sales... I will be back. Thank you SF Vision Ctr!

I am speaking out to showcase my excellent experience(s) at South Florida Vision with extra thanks to the Office Manager, Joey Spears. It is a small, personable office and Joey really makes the difference. Quality customer service and professional results will win every time! Most importantly, Joey was patient with the fitting so my progressive transition lenses were perfect the first try! Joey was even helpful with choosing a great look for my face and style. My visit on March 20th 2026 was nothing but fabulous starting at the front desk with Chrissy my second step was with chante 3rd would be the Dr Mr Eric Wright very patient and very kind very professional and fourth step Joey checking out to make sure I had the perfect glasses to match my face..Thank you allllll at South fl vision Oakland I highly recommend and I'm very satisfied I came here today.
