Don’t get cataract surgery here. The doctor broke and dropped part of the old lens into the eye and had to have surgery in Houston to remove it and have had problems ever since!!! Super long waits in the lobby and staff are not pleasant at all.

1992 I had a serious right eye injury, after seeing a couple of other eye Drs. Dr McMahon was recommended to me by several people that had treated them or being treated at the time. Honestly he made a tremendous difference in solving my problem due to that injury he saved my eye sight!!! It's been 33 years I've.been using South Texas eye center. Thanks Dr.McMahon and your great staff for all your help for 33 years!!! God bless everyone at South Texas eye center!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏
Wait time is the same as all eye places in Victoria, however, this was the best eye exam and prescription I've had and I've been wearing glasses for 20+ years. They even spent time to let my son look in the scopes to see inside my eyes and the Dr. took time to show him a book about eye health. Just got my new glasses today and the ladies that coordinate that are super quick and knowledgeable. The patient care and service is impeccable!
I had a appointment today for cataract surgery. Everything was going good until the antestogist came in and told the nurse to shut up. That really annoyed me so I walked out. That lady is not professional. I can't wait for them to get another person.
They are very friendly and willing to help you with your questions. The wait is not bad.
