Southwest Eye Care

I ordered new contacts lens for myself. I wasn't a fan of the sevice I got. I walked in and the lady at the desk by the glasses couldn't even come my way to talk and expected me to say my last name out loud and asked what I wanted. In the past, someone would come behind the counter and I wouldn't have to talk loud. And my first impression wasn't great. In the past someone who used to work there would smile and was very personable and gave happy vibes. The new worker isn't personable at all and I wanted more privacy. I honestly don't feel like ever getting my glasses fitted here or anything. Personality matters.

Rude floor staff. One in particular is always very unhelpful and unwilling to do her job. She has black hair and glasses. Everytime I have gone in there she is unfriendly and acts like helping with anything that is her job is an inconvenience. Will not be going to Hutchinson eye care anymore.

We are always happy with our visits to Dr Glaser at Southwest Eye Care. He is thorough and patient. My youngest was nervous about her exam but Dr. Glaser was able to accomplish most of the parts of the exam by following my child's comfort level and letting her "lead" the exam. After which he explained everything to me in a way that I was able to understand and made sure I was informed and comfortable before ending the appointment!

I don't know what happened to this place but it is utterly ridiculous. You cannot talk to anyone. They tell you to leave a message, which they won't respond to no matter how many times you try to contact them, so don't even bother. I needed help with my prescription and could not talk to an actual person. I tried doing a back door by speaking to someone who makes appointments. I spoke with 2 different people, one who totally blew me off and didn't even attempt to help me. The other woman in appointments tried her best and I finally got what I needed after working on the situation for over 2 hours. It wasn't even her job. It was the optical department or the lab. Both of which were useless. I had the same experience with them 3 years ago which is why I now use Walmart for my glasses. The people in their optical department are pleasant, professional and they answer their phone.

Have been going to Southwest eye Care for about 3 years now. I was very impressed on how comprehensive the care is. Not only looking at your prescription but other health aspects also. Great selection of frames. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Office is well organized and I've never had any extended weights for my scheduled appointments. Would highly recommend Southwest eye Care to anyone!
