Dr Campion was good and his assistant Molly was very helpful. I had difficulty getting answers when I called. I wanted to know if I could reduce my drops and I just needed a yes or no answer but I couldn't get a call back even after I called about 4 times. Then I couldn't get an answer about the contract I needed to sign until I refused to sign it unless I got an answer. Also I got very little explanations about what was going to happen. I consider it a problem based on the company's rules and restrictions on time the doctor can spend with the patient. There were employees that wanted to help but their hands were tied

I received Scleral Contact Lenses from Matthew Palmer and wanted to comment on the office practices in regard to billing. These type of lenses are medically necessary yet the contact dept. told me that I had already used my vision benefits for routine eye glasses, therefore the lenses were not covered. I was required to pay $1,600 before they would order the lenses for me. Insurance eventually reimburses $1250. Unfair practice No.1. In the next few days I received an invoice from Dr. Palmer's practice for $1,500. lens Fitting Fee. Noone in the office ever mentioned that there would be an additional fee for fitting, I never signed anything saying I would take financial responsibility. The total charge for lenses and fitting $3,100. If I had known the total cost, I would not have chosen to purchase the scleral lenses. My insurance reimbursed me $57 for the fitting. Unfair practice No. 2. Six months later one of the lenses became cloudy. I was told that I would need to purchase a replacement lens as the original contract period had already expired. Unfair practice No. 3. I had paid for fitting fee, (that I was never told about), yet I only needed one extra fitting so at $750.00 /($1,500 / 2) per lens, I feel that I should receive a replacement for the cloudy lens at no charge. My review basically states, DO NOT purchase Scleral Lenses from Matthew Palmer.

I am happy with Dr Palmer and his staff. I believe that they are taking good care of my eyes. My big complaint is that I had to wait 40 minutes for the exam to start.

Southwestern Eye Center is incredible, if your looking for somewhere to go for your optometry needs. I've known Doctor Palmer for years, and he is incredible! I admire his compassion, transparency, and professionalism.

Eye exam was good. However, I was then told there was currently no optician at that location. Staff was completely unhelpful on this matter. They had no info on where else I can get a script filled. The other locations are to far away to be convenient. The staff were very uncaring about this.
