Spare Pair Vision Center - Holmdel

I have been going to Spare Pair for decades, usually to Manalapan, but this time I had an emergency and Manalapan staff managed to get me squeezed into dr. Alcala's schedule. She was AMAZING! Very thorough and professional. With my particular eye problem it turned out I needed to see an ophthalmologist (already had an appointment with one, but the earliest possible was almost 2 months away). Dr. Alcala personally called a couple of practices to get me an appointment. I have never had any doctor do that for me. Thanks to her I was seen by dr. Ahmed Abdelhady at Holmdel Eye Center the very next day (whom I also highly recommend) and not only got a proper diagnosis but immediate relief. Dr. Alcala and Lauren truly went above and beyond to help me. I was very well taken care of and will be forever grateful for their good hearts and amazing work ethic. THANK YOU! 🙏🏻♥️

We have been customers at Holmdel Spare Pair for several years now. We have never received anything short of excellent service there. We have a disabled adult son and, Michelle and Eric especially, always treat him with kindness and respect. He can be a tough customer, but they both know him and work through his issues every time. Dr. Collini was absolutely wonderful at Spare Pair Vision Center. She was incredibly thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly during my exam. I never felt rushed, and she made sure all of my questions were answered while walking me through each part of the process. Her attention to detail and genuine care for her patients really stood out. Excellent from the minute I walked in Michelle checked my insurance benefits and told me what I was eligible for and then said, would you like to make an appointment for today and within two hours I was having my Eye exam with Dr. Alcala. I’m very impressed with the eye exam I was given Dr. Alcala is wonderful. She took her time. She explained everything. She asked me questions. The whole staff that was there was amazing. Very well run Office.
