Not a good experience. Paid over $740 for glasses. Supposedly indestructible- not true. Did not occur to me that there would be a warranty so limped along for months till initial problem was repeated on other side. Stopped by to see about repair. Apparently just past warranty so $180 to repair. Most expensive screws on earth (yes that's what I needed) . To make matters worse when I told them my insurance had changed was told they did not take new carrier. Made .me feel like street trash. Did not opt for $180 repair knowing I would be seeing new provider covered by my insurance. Last straw was being told by new provider that I need catarac surgery. Expressed surprise that nothing had been mentioned at Special Eyes the year before. Borderline legally blind. Dr said Rather than sell me glasses I should have been told I needed surgery. Might need readers after. Would not sell me glasses. Surgery scheduled. As I said-bad experiece. Very. Bad. Lesson learned. Ask about warranty at time of purchase. Over $740. Wow-surely there was enough profit in there to do a simple repair.
