Specs For Less

Terrible. My friend warned me not to go and I didn't listen. The guy doing eye exam was dismissive and rude. I've never had an experience like this in my life. He did tell me I had the beginning of cataracts. Ok recommended an eye dr to go to. Ok. I needed glasses to drive tho and I saw nothing clear through the machine so he started to walk out and I was trying to ask him would the glasses I get be as blurry as I was seeing out of the machine. A simple question that he could not answer. They wanted me to pay over $500 and couldn't say if they would be better than having nothing. I understood I needed to go see real eye dr so either say do that first OR tell me yes or no about blurryness. Don't try to just shove $500 glasses at me. The older women selling the glasses was just as rude. The owner should to send someone in undercover to see for themselves since it is not just me with this feeling.

I had a positive experience at Specs for Less. I had no appointment and walked in at 11:15. Staff was knowledgable, friendly & efficient. While waiting for the doctor, the woman assisted me with choosing a frame. Eye exam was professional & informative. Doctor made helpful recommendations for the lenses. I was done in under an hour and glasses should be ready in 7-10 days. Overall pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

Whole staff was super polite and didn’t try pushing a sale i didn’t want to commit to gave me what i wanted. Doctor himself spoke plainly, did everything right shown off his knowledge of eyes and glasses without being extravagant about. Also also very polite but no nonsense, i liked that so yeah good place this one on forest avenue.

Very nasty staff. Very rude standoffish and very condescending tone. No customer service and compassion no kindness no regard for having a welcoming attitude just very cold “mean girl” energy. Very nasty and disappointing service. The eye doctor however was very polite and extremely helpful and thorough with his eye exam. Unfortunately we live in a society where micro aggressions like smart remarks and condescending tone and passive aggression is acceptable and I think it’s actually disgusting behavior and I don’t believe customers should be treated this way. Then they tell me that someone was fired for doing everything wrong which happened to be coincidentally the only nice one in the office. Unprofessional rude and unacceptable behavior. It was the whole team except the Dr. that’s the saddest part.

Dr. Jacqueline Armani, OD was a fill in on Fri, 5/01, the day I went to Specs for Less for services. She was duly professional polite and personable in describing my options for eye care. She should be recognized and commended as an example for other optometrists to emulate.
