I’ve always gone to the Spectacle Shop for glasses and have found the service and product choices to be excellent. I recently decided to buy some good quality, attractive reading glasses. Byron helped me, and I love my new glasses. They’re so much better than the cheap ones I had.
I visited this shop to fix my broken reading glasses frame. Even it was not purchased at this shop, they fixed it with no charge. In addition, the lady was kind and professional, which gave strong impressions to potential clients.
I went to The Spectacle Shop for the first time a few weeks ago. I expected the cost for frames and lenses to be out of my price range. I was so pleasantly surprised but more than that I was so impressed to find an optician who gave me suggestions for the frame that suited my face and explained why. Paul was amazing. Every other place I have been the attendant simply agreed with whatever I selected. I went in today for an adjustment and Paul knew exactly why I came in before I even asked. He could see the frames needed tweaking. I walked out of the shop knowing I will return again and again to have Paul help me whenever I need an additional pair of glasses.
Having bought 2 pair of glasses during the pandemic, neither of which fit well and were rushed purchases, I was ready for the right frames. I did the same search hitting all the shops and even the free online home try on. None were right. A friend suggested the Spectacle Shop. I walked into the Berkmar location and Jon greeted me. I explained my issues and what I was looking for. He walked over to a large selection of frames pickled one off the display and had me try them on. That was it. They were the ones. He nailed it! Jon also told me more about frames and how they fit better with face and nose/ear shapes than I had ever been told before. Other shops had only commented on the look and never the fit ! I was floored at the quality of the lens as well. The glass is a far superior material than my previous glasses. It has made the fall colors come to life ! I am so pleased with everyone there. Amanda gave me feedback that day as well. Paul was there when I picked my new glasses up and adjusted them to my face. Could not be happier.
