Spectrum Eye Institute

The waiting area had plenty of seating except it was very cold. It took awhile to be acknowledged by the reception staff. Reason for only 4 stars. It was busy that day; however I noticed other patients coming in after me were acknowledged right away even though they still had to wait. I thought 🤔 hmm maybe I'm invisible due to my Super Powers kicking in and no one could see me. Nah!!! I'm 💯% human. Anyhow, I was there to see Dr. Hashmi and she is always very pleasant and thorough. The staff who assisted me at checkout was very friendly and helpful. I have to say that I favor the Joliet office because it's closer for me, and the overall atmosphere is more suited to my liking. My next appointment is scheduled there. Thank you Spectrum!

Dr Shamra Hashmi is an excellent doctor, who is knowledgeable and caring. I recommend her in a heartbeat, and the staff is very nice. There was a particular young lady who took care of my husband, whose English is limited. She spoke Spanish to him (even though not her first language, she tried her best, and did great!). She explained things in detail to him. I indicated that not everyone takes time to explain what different procedures mean. Not even in Enhlish, and here she was doing this in a foreign language. She made my husband feel seen and heard. THANK YOU!

Hardly any wait for my appt. The dr and technician were very professional, thorough and friendly and every question was answered. I was not rushed and that was extremely pleasant. The scheduling person was wonderful and friendly! Very positive experience!

Been going to have my optic nerve examined every 6 months to every year. They have been nothing but amazing & get me in & out of appointments quickly & with ease. I highly recommend!

Dr Hashmi is a wonderful doctor. Ive been a patient of yhe practice for many year. Why?Quality care from the entire staff. Couldnt be happier and always willing to tell family and friends.
