This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with health care. From the allergy testing, to the surgery I had, then to being billed for an error the billing department would not take action to resolve with the insurance company. When I went to get allergy testing, when the doctor ordered the tests, I told her that I was having allergic reactions and we discussed that it was possible the testing would fail because of that. Though there were no other patients waiting, two women came in and rushed through the testing. Turns out the testing failed, but they would not slow down. Then I was able to be squeezed in for a surgery. The nurse at the surgical center got too busy and I was taken back to have surgery before the pre surgery medicine kicked in. So I had to do the surgery fully awake and aware of what was going on. The doctor was so rushed that I just had to power through a nose procedure. I was crying, so I eventually was given a wash cloth to put over my eyes so I didn’t have to watch the surgery. Then the same surgical center didn’t call me, but someone else to check on me the next day. I specifically asked to have them call me when I was leaving, but they could not honor that simple request. When I went back for a check after the procedure, I think the doctor forgot I was waiting and I was in the appointment room after seeing the nurse for an hour before the doctor had time to come check on me. Finally, I assumed the billing would be a simple request to the insurance. The billing office sent the bill with an incorrect code. I asked them to submit an appeal with the correct coding, but the billing department incorrectly submitted the appeal. Rather than resubmitting the appeal with the insurance company (who said they would cover the procedure) the billing office started calling me and sending me communications that I was financially responsible for the procedure. I even got communication that my bill was late. Rather than working with the insurance company, the billing department kept sending me a copy of a form I submitted that IF the insurance was not willing to cover the procedure (which I was told multiple times the insurance company WOULD COVER THE PROCEDURE) than I would pay the bill. The insurance company was willing and able to pay, if they would have just filled out the paperwork correctly. This practice is not able to handle simple patient care to confirm if someone will be awake during surgery because they are busy filing paperwork. They are not able to handle insurance billing, and cannot handle simple requests.

Dr. Veazey is AMAZING. Her assistant Merissa, is 100% awesome. I have never felt so cared for, in a time of crisis and need, from a provider and teammate. Cared for, listened to, helped, etc. Dr. Veazey’s knowledge is astounding and her care is beyond belief. I would highly, highly recommend her. I knew in the first visit that I found the best doctor. In my second visit I knew I met the best doctor dedicated to patients, her practice of medicine, and providing the absolute best care possible. Her and Merissa being a team in care made visits so much better. I didn’t have to explain everything over and over again every time, be dismissed, or feel like they are just plugging stuff into a computer with mindless conversation. They were on top of everything, every second of my care plan. Merissa is excellent to go over everything again, without even asking, when she knows I’m scared and worried. It is extremely helpful to hear a second time. I will never see a different ENT doctor for care. Will absolutely recommend Dr. Veazey to anyone in need of ENT services. It is a relief that doctors like her exist and I’m so incredibly happy that I ended up with her as my provider.

This entire experience has been terrible from the start. I would not recommend this business to anyone I would tell them to avoid at all cost. The customer service is terrible inside the office and within the billing department. It's honestly too much to compile in this survey but I'm actively looking for a different company to further my treatments. This company is money hungry and do not care about the patient experience nor do they take accountability for their actions. I'm very disappointed all the way around. I typically don't leave reviews but this one had to be done though because the treatment I've received is unacceptable. The fact that I have to deal with this company for the duration of this first and last treatment is irritating me because I cannot cancel the service to start fresh somewhere else. Do not call me, do not email me about my survey I've talked to this company enough I will show up for my treatments and as soon as the first set of allergy vials are done I won't look back.

My daughter Sophie had nasal surgery last week and the entire staff was very friendly and attentive to her. It was her first time under anesthesia and she was very nervous. The staff did an amazing job of soothing the nerves. Very grateful for Dr. Kempiners and would recommend ENT & Allergy Specialists to everyone!
