St. Johns Eye Associates (MyEyeDr.)

Revised: The local staff have always been kind and helpful, and my frustration is not with them. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership/management, MyEyeDr has become incredibly frustrating to deal with. After handling my insurance correctly for the past three years, they filed my claim incorrectly and tried to stick me with a nearly $1,000 bill. Instead of fixing their mistake, I had to call my insurance company myself and troubleshoot it for them. The local staff deserve better, but the inconvenience and lack of accountability from the company are not worth the it. I’ll be looking to take my next appointment elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Dr. Diane Kapadia at MyEyeDr. I have worn multifocal contacts for years, and my first visit with her was the most thorough and considerate examination and consultation that I’ve ever experienced. I am thrilled with my new contact lenses!

Low income discrimination. The website BOASTS equality and the acceptance of ALL INSURANCE, and will allow you to set your own appointments at any location. However, since this location isn't in a low income area, or an area with a heavy POC population, they called me the next day to tell me THE RICHER LOCATIONS LIKE THIS ONE CHOOSE NOT TO ACCEPT MEDICAID. Reporting false advertisement and discrimination to BBB.

Words cannot describe the way the staffed was so attentive and patient with me, listening and explaining in depth the process of the scheduled appointment; Very impressed by Dr. Fay and his team. Would recommend to anyone in need of assistance.

I’m very disappointed with the lack of communication from St. Johns Eye Associates. I’m having a problem with a recent pair of glasses and have called several times, both in the morning and afternoon. I have also left multiple voicemails, but no one has returned my calls. I understand that offices can be busy, but patients should receive a response, especially when there is a problem with a recent purchase. I hope someone from the office contacts me soon and helps resolve this issue. 👎
