Going to see Dr. Walker every year for my annual eye exam is not a chore, it is a joy. After my first visit with her I felt cheated on every previous eye exam I have ever had. She is very thorough; even checking your peripheral vision. As a result, my prescription eyeglasses are point on. Also, her staff is awesome. They treat you like family.

From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was incredibly friendly, genuine, and welcoming. You can immediately tell they care deeply about you and your eye health. They encourage you to ask questions- any questions- and never make you feel rushed or silly for asking. I've been wearing glasses since I was 18 months old, and now in my mid-thirties, I've seen more eye doctors than I can count. After turning 18, I spent years bouncing around trying to find someone who didn't rush me through the appointment or treat me like a checklist item. My childhood doctor lacked patience, and that experience stuck with me for many years. But then I met Dr. Walker- and it was like a breath of fresh air! She is unbelievably kind, patient, and attentive. She takes her time with you, makes sure you are completely comfortable, and genuinely listens. What stood out to me the most to me is that she could actually relate to my vision issues on a personal level. That connection meant everything. it made the entire visit feel easy, reassuring, and honestly.... refreshing. This is the first eye appointment in a very long time where I left feeling hopeful! Dr. Walker has restored my confidence in eye care, and I am so grateful for her compassion, expertise, and the way she treats her patients like real people- not a number to rush through.
