Love Stanton Optical! My appointments have always been quick, even for a walk in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They truly care about getting you a great deal and a pair of glasses you will love. Special shoutout to Michael for being super helpful when picking frames and lenses! He is awesome and made the entire experience amazing.

I think the young ladies name was Miss Janelle. She was working on a Wednesday afternoon 6/10 impeccable customer service and professionalism and made me feel at ease. I wish everybody was as efficient at their jobs as she is.

BEWARE- EVERYTHING IS VIRTUAL AND YOU DON’T SEE A PHYSICIAN. Terrible experience. I scheduled a “comprehensive eye exam” via online; I get to the store and check in. My insurance was not in network but was informed that they would match my benefits. I thought that was reasonable. The MA took images and then stated my eye pressure was high; I declined further imaging so I could discuss this with the optometrist at my “comprehensive eye exam”. I was then walked into a room with a TV and a “virtual tech” that was controlling the settings and powers. I was very confused as there was no indication that this was going to be virtual. The video in the beginning informs of how your exam will be- nothing of which actually happened. At someone point we had even lost connection. At the end of it, I was sat in the waiting area for my fitting of contacts at this point I still had not been able to see a physician to address any concerns alike the high eye pressure that was pointed out by the MA. I got my trial contacts and saw very blurry in my right eye. I read the power and it was completely off by almost 2 points; I informed the MA of this and she stated that I now had astigmatism in both eyes when I had only ever had it in my left eye; no physician informed me of this. This seems highly out of bounds of position coming from someone who works in healthcare. I informed her I would have to test these prior to making a purchase of contacts. She said I would need to purchase something for the exam to be covered- in which I was NOT informed of just that they would match my benefits. I told her my copay is $0 for contact exam and said it would only be matched after making a a purchase. She then said she could take the cost of the exam taken off my allowance. I declined and said this was not a fair assessment, exam, or evaluation as I never saw a physician and my prescription was clearly wrong; I have had the same power for over 10 years (I go every year)! She informed that this was expressed in the new patient paperwork, I told her no it was not. In fact, it states, in the email, that you will see a physician and have a full comprehensive exam, nothing virtual is mentioned and in the video during your “exam” they mention you will meet with an optometrist (which I did not!). She spoke to her manager and I paid $10, which I found fair as they took images of my eyes. PLEASE beware espically if you have eye disease, acute symptoms, etc. This is very unfortunate especially being pregnant and having ocular symptoms that I expressed in my paperwork that I would not discuss! Unfortunately, now, I have to pay out of pocket for real exam. Oh and sadly there was no disinfection between patients; completely unsanitary.

I came in for an eye exam and to get glasses. The women at first were very welcoming and helpful with my exam and deciding on frames. I did not expect to pay over $200 for a single pair of glasses with just the basic sunglass effect added so of course you can imagine my shock when we were told it was going to be a total of over $200 for the exam and glasses with my very good insurance. So i asked the women who was helping with the payment at the end if they held on to my frame choice and prescriptions so I can come back once I got paid as I did not have over $200 today to pay for it and it was like a switch flipped and she started being short and rude and almost like she was annoyed that ai couldn’t pay OVER $200 for one pair of glasses. I was going to come back once pay day on Wednesday to make the purchase but not with how her attitude was towards the end of the appointment. I will gladly take my $200 to a different place.

Stanton optical is a rip off. I had my eye exam there it was fine. The part that was missing leading is the frames they fail to tell you about the 2 pair for $79.99. So I picked 2 pair of frames both was $199.99. So I asked for something more cheaper because I have never in my life paid $200 for one pair of glasses. They feed off ppl with insurance to try to get more money out of ppl. I will definitely be finding a new place to go. I also had a credit there of $100 and they tried not to give it back or apply it to my order as well they need to do better. The manager she just don’t want to tell anyone about the cheaper frames they offer.
