Be careful of this location as they will tell you your insurance will cover this and that as well as offer other so called discounts to get you to buy more pairs of eyeglasses. The manager was also unhelpful and seemed disinterested with any issues I had when she was asked to help solve a billing issue. I was told to call the billing dept and billing dept told me it was the managers responsibility. Manager lied to my face and told me she got me another courtesy discount for the issues I encountered when she acually did not. Be advised if this eyeglass center seems overly joyous to help you they are probably overly joyous behind your back after you leave. Walmart eyeglass center in Statesboro, Ga is NOT trying to make eyeglass centers great again.

Whatever you do refrain from purchasing your frames and lenses from not only this but any walmart vision center. They will not honor replacement warranty for obvious defects in craftsmanship of frames but rather will find any possible way to opt out of making good on the quality of the products they sell. The plastic molding on my sons frames is coming apart where the stems sit over his ears making them uncomfortable to wear but the store claims this is considered normal wear and tear so they won’t replace them only if they are broken. The warranty is really not a good value you’re basically buying a junk add-on which will do you no good if you try to use it for the pretense it’s sold to you for.

Really surprised at the reviews for the Statesboro vision center. Brought my son in to get an exam and fitted for contacts. I called to make the appointment when I came in they took us right in, no wait at all. The doctor was super thorough with his exam and all of the employees were really sweet and helpful. I actually thought they were so good I made an appointment for myself and my husband. So take a lot of the reviews with a grain of salt and go form your own opinion!

The optical representative was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Mr Rod, he was extremely kind and was very thorough. I just got my glasses today and it's definitely safe to say that I will definitely be coming back. I can see out of my glasses perfectly and the young lady that helped me today was extremely helpful and accommodating.

I had a follow up appointment for contacts on Friday. All they had to do was check to see how the new contacts felt and fitted my eyes. I had already told them that I had worn them for a week and they felt comfortable. They had me wait 45 minutes before I finally came out of the exam room and stated that I just want to order my contacts and leave. The other ladies in there that were just standing around acted so nonchalant and had attitudes. The only thing that saved me from taking my business elsewhere at that moment was Mr. Darryl stepping in to try to help me and apologizing for my wait. He even stated that there was no reason for me having to wait that long. He was so kind and compassionate. He needs to run that eye center instead of the ones they have in there. The eye center really needs a clean sweep.
