My glasses had broken and I needed glasses right away. Usually it's pretty costly to get glasses with one hour service. And I needed an eye exam. I found Stanton Optical right here in Monroe and it seemed too good to be true. Well I went there yesterday, got the eye exam. The technician who gave me the exam was awesome. And then picked out two pairs of glasses. I was really surprised at the frame selection. Usually when you get the budget glasses the frame selections at places aren't that great. I had a hard time making up my mind here because they were like five that I really liked. And I picked frames that had my lenses in stock. That way I could get them in under an hour. Went and had lunch came back picked up my glasses it was awesome. The people that work here could not be nicer. My boyfriend will be coming here for glasses next month. And from now on this is where my family is getting glasses.

An excellent choice for eye exams and eye wear in Monroe... The team at Stanton Optical in Monroe went out of their way to ensure that I would have a great experience from start to finish. The exam went well. It was my first time having a telehealth eye exam so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the doctor's tech helped me feel confident and comfortable throughout the whole process which went quickly, though it was thorough. Afterwards, the team helped me find a pair of frames our of their large selection that fit my face well, even helpfully weighing in to narrow down choices that looked fun on the wall, but didn't compliment my personal features. Since my husband wasn't with me to hear his thoughts and opinions, I welcomed their advice! My glasses arrived quickly and, when I picked them up, the staff made sure I was 100% happy with my new glasses before leaving. I would absolutely recommend this location if you are looking for a knowledgeable staff who is there to make sure you leave with confidence in your eyesight as well as your style!

Everything about this place is horrible from the lackadaisical, no personality assistants up front to the absurd remote poor English speaking remote doctor. For decades both my eyes have been the same prescription. Currently, based on my last exam by an actual doctor, both my contacts were 4.25. At Stanton the hard to understand remote doctor (obviously operating from India) prescribed 4.50 for one eye and 3.75 for the other. After trying them on I argued with the assistant that my eye sight was way off. Finally they upped my one eye to 4.00. My sight still felt strange but the hourly worker promised me it would even out. Immediately I started having headaches and even though I’m in my 50s I never before needed reading glasses. Not the case after visiting this place. After months of enduring headaches and blurred vision I went back to a real doctor who informed me my subscription from Stanton was way off. Once corrected my sight returned to normal and I can once again read without glasses. Stanton is a complete joke and rip off. I’m not a huge fan of Americas Best Eyecare but at least they still have actual doctors on site and are cheaper to boot. Stay away from Stanton if you value your eyesight!!!

Top notch service! My glasses broke in a weird way. I called and spoke to Yulis who got me in right away and had my glasses fixed the same day at no charge! I’ve been happy with this location and their services.

I came in with a challenging problem and staff was so nice and very skilled in coming up with a creative solution and 100% solved my issue. Very nice people and very impressed with the great level of service.
