I would give this location 0 stars if I could. My dad and I came here for his scheduled eye exam. We made an appointment in advance and arrived on time. When we first walked in, we were greeted by a very kind African American gentleman at the frame counter. He welcomed us and directed us to the left side of the building for my dad’s exam. Unfortunately, that’s where the experience went downhill. While waiting, we witnessed the receptionist interacting with an elderly woman who simply had questions about her upcoming appointment. Instead of helping her, the receptionist acted visibly irritated and dismissive. The woman eventually left without getting answers to her questions, which was heartbreaking to watch. When it was our turn, the receptionist asked for my dad’s name and insurance information. Although the interaction seemed normal at first, she came across as annoyed the entire time. After taking his information, she walked over to the other side of the store and spent about 10 minutes chatting with another employee before returning to tell us the doctor was ready. One thing that was never disclosed when scheduling the appointment was that the eye exam would be conducted remotely. There was absolutely no indication that my dad would be speaking with a doctor over a video call. The receptionist took my dad back and connected him to what appeared to be a Zoom call with a doctor who spoke very little English. Throughout the exam, my dad repeatedly explained that he couldn’t understand what the doctor was saying. Because of the language barrier, he felt the responses he was giving would not be accurate, so after about 8–10 minutes he chose to stop the exam. When he returned to the lobby, he politely asked if there was someone he could understand. At that point, the receptionist and another female employee were standing at the desk laughing and giggling. Instead of addressing his concern, the receptionist accused my dad of being disrespectful toward her coworker. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the female employee who had been standing there laughing was apparently qualified to perform the exam herself. Instead, they chose to have my dad struggle through a remote exam while they socialized, despite clearly hearing that he couldn’t understand the doctor. After the receptionist continued speaking to my dad in a rude and dismissive manner, she told him to go with the same employee for the remainder of the exam. By that point, my dad no longer felt comfortable allowing someone involved in the interaction to continue his care or dilate his eyes. We decided to leave without completing the appointment. This entire experience felt unprofessional, dismissive, and lacking in basic compassion. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, especially elderly patients or anyone expressing legitimate concerns. We will not be returning.

Amazing service. I absolutely loved the nurse Chelsea was awesome and so patient with my two boys. The optometrist was excellent and cool the boys were very grateful to have her do the exam. She was funny and very knowledgeable. Thank you so much. I can’t wait to get my appointment done soon for mom.

There’s no way to physically get a hold of the store you have to go through Philippines so when you have a problem, you can’t call them I have spoke to the store manager Chad on Friday afternoon before the holidays because he told me this special was for Memorial Day few days ago & he told me he would give me 50% lenses & 15% for being a new customer & I have trying to get my frames in there for a week because of the holiday discount just now Taria hung up on me because I was trying to tell her that you cant get a hold of the store it rings to the Philippines. During the conversation, she did tell me that lenses are 50% all the time. Why are they calling it a holiday special , if they run the lenses 50% off all year long.It wasn’t a memorial day special it sounds like a scam to get new customers in there, she said they can’t give 15% off in the store which is what They offer online. Aren’t they a part of Stanton optical? That’s a Stanton optical first time discount 15%. I will be taking my business elsewhere

Dear Stanton Optical Management, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent visit to your Tulsa location and to request an immediate refund. During my appointment, I experienced extremely poor customer service and an unprofessional attitude from your staff. I paid for a contact lens exam, expecting to receive proper care and clear communication. However, after completing the exam, I was abruptly told that I was not a candidate for contact lenses, without any clear explanation. Instead of providing a professional or medical reason, I was asked to sign a form to release my medical information, with the explanation that the details would be sent to me by email. Not only was this confusing and poorly handled, but I was also treated dismissively—staff laughed during the interaction, which I found highly disrespectful and inappropriate. It has now been a week, and I have still not received any email or documentation explaining the outcome of my exam. I paid for a service that was not properly delivered, and I was left without answers or support. Given the circumstances, I am requesting an immediate full refund for the contact lens exam. This situation reflects a lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer care. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider escalating my complaint further.
