First off I have to say Allyssa and Jerome are absolutely amazing. You are not gonna find better customer service, more one-on-one attention, or the feeling that you matter as a patient to them. Staton optical went above and beyond on a Sunday to help me not only find a new pair of glasses, but took the time to help me establish my insurance and to walk me through the steps. There was no pushing on sales. There was no feeling that I was being rushed out of the store. My glasses turnaround was within 48 hours due to my lens prescription and when I went to pick them up one minute before closing, I was greeted with a smile by Alyssa and A “how are you doing” by Jerome. Needless to say, I am not getting my eyewear anywhere else but station optical in Norman

I wasn’t in the best mood when I arrived because my glasses were broken and I needed them fixed quickly. Allyssa was so kind and helpful. She got my glasses fixed and she had a great attitudes about helping me. I left feeling much better than I felt when I arrived. 10/10 would recommend!

Let me start with the reasons why I chose this provider: Same day appointments/walk ins Same day glasses In Norman Open past 5pm Accepted my insurance Here’s my factual experience: -I showed up at 6 and was informed they were running behind, by the very pleasant employee Mischy. I was their last patient and ended up leaving at 7:45. -The technology they have is awesome and way more efficient than the typical eye clinic. -I was able to order glasses and contacts easily. - I was given a written report of my eye exam results. -If you have concerns for your eye health, this is not the place for you, as there is not an on site optometrist to talk with you, only a virtual one when requested. - All of my visit was done with Mischy, which went great. She was informative, kind, patient, and helpful. -They don’t have price tags on their frames, I ended up picking out a $500 pair of frames, when had I known the price tag I would’ve chosen a different set. I wasn’t informed of any deals or discounts as displayed on their website ($79 for 2 pairs) even though I originally intended to buy 2 pairs, but an $800+ price tag is way too high for me. If frames cost had been displayed on their glasses, I could’ve made a more informed decision and potentially just order glasses online somewhere versus from this store. -My glasses were not ready same day. (Since I was last I didn’t expect this)They said about a week and they’ll call me. Big reason I chose them was the same day glasses perk. So I was bummed to hear they would be a week to get them back. (1 pair-single vision w/ blue light filter/anti glare addons to lenses)- maybe my add ons made it to where you can’t get them done same or next day. Not sure. To wrap up- The employee that took care of me was a 10/10 amazing. Her co-worker complained about how long they’d be there for the night and definitely made me feel like a big inconvenience, and I never once even complained about the long wait (1hr in the waiting room) I had scheduled an online appointment for 5:45, but traffic made me late so I arrived at 6. Their pricing not being displayed felt slightly deceptive.(as someone that is frugal minded) It was strange that there wasn’t an actual doctor on site because I had a few concerns I wanted to discuss and I wasn’t aware of the no Dr thing until the very end of my visit. (And I am not interested in having a virtual visit) It should be made clear that there’s not a doctor on site. This clinic is like an assembly machine getting patients in and out quickly with their advanced technology (unless they’re running behind), but even with this style of operation I felt well taken care of with Mischy. I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to others unless they desperately needed an eye exam, prescription, and a trial pair of contacts to walk out the door with Same day after 5pm.

I genuinely had the worst experience. I'd booked my appointment for 11am, and checked in a good 5 minutes beforehand. All of my paperwork was done days beforehand. There was a man filling out paperwork, and it was several minutes past my appointment time before he finished it, yet he went first, and he took up 40 minutes of my appointment time. Then, during my eye exam, some lady came in to scold the woman doing my eye exam, demanding several times that she accepts all walk-ins, when they were clearly behind and she was essentially the only one doing any work! Then, they insisted I purchase contacts there that I tried in and were so uncomfortable I had to take them out. All I wanted was an eye exam and my prescription. When I told them the contacts I'm used to, they found them in their system but didn't have any (which is fine, I'll order online) but they said they'll have the provider change the prescription to have the brand I use. I waited about 20 minutes and the new prescription never came in. They said they'd email it to me. It has been a few days and I still don't have it. This was genuinely an awful experience, and I will not only not recommend this place to anyone, I would advise anyone against coming here! I cannot believe I spent $160 on a contacts exam/prescription that I'm not even sure is actually accurate! Oh, and I was NOT informed of the cost until over halfway through with my eye exam!!! I am seriously SO unhappy with this entire experience, and I'm furious I spent that much money for what feels like no reason. I wish I had gone elsewhere! Two of the ladies were nice, the woman doing my eye exam, and the older woman assisting me in the glasses area. That's it.

We were there for 2 hours despite having an appointment the walk-ins were taken first. The woman that completed the eye exam didn't seem qualified in the slightest. We ordered new glasses that cost us quite a bit of money. Due to my unease about the eye exam we went to another location to have the prescription double checked. Stanton Optical employee got a 5.25, the location we chose to get a second opinion got a 6.00 which is quite a bit different. I had to go back in and request them do a remake for the order with the new prescription. We are still waiting on the new glasses order to be filled. It's a two week wait. (It'll be total of 3 weeks if the new order is accurate and on time) We will NEVER use this company again. Eye sight is an important part of day to day life and I don't trust them in the slightest.
